You know what I love? How retarded people are and how quick they want to accuse Shawne of malicious play. First of all, Vince Young WAS NOT LOOKING when HE ran into Merriman, yet Merriman is getting blamed for somehow hitting VY intentionally. Then they can't even see that the crackblock wasn't the play Merriman was "taken out" on, it was the screenpass to White when SM got pounced on by I don't know who from the Titans AFTER White was down and Shawne was away from the play.

It was a rough game, BOTH WAYS. I blame the refs mainly, because as I was watching Replay last night, #76 OL from Tenn was seriously punching guys after plays (he was the main culprit), especially Cesaire on more than 1 occassion.

Anyways, it's over. Bring on the Lions FFS.

I know someone brought up Shaun Philips going on Sirius talking about the crackback on another thread, but I finally got to listen to the end... he made a good point... praphrasing...

"go ahead crackback, but DONT jump off sides to do it, then celebrate it... the whole O-line was celebrating, who celebrates after getting a penalty?"

This in my mind is evidence it was an ordered HIT! F*** the Titans... can any of their fans or teams really think Merriman had a dirty hit on VY? C'mon young ran into him, and Merriman braced himself...

I never had much of an opinion of the Titans. That has definitely changed after some of the crap they pulled.

The problem I ahve is with one shot frames like this that show someone doing what appears to be something wrong, your never getting hte whole picture either what happened prior or after this 'incident'.

Your Honor, these photographs are misleading. In the first photograph it is obvious that Mr. Cesaire was hitting my client's fist with his throat. In the second photograph my client is merely trying to catch Mr. Cesaire's helmet, which flew off for no apparent reaason. As you can see Your Honor, my client was trying to prevent Mr. Cesaire's helmet from becoming soiled.

    friggin lawyers..

Always try to gray the obvious. :icon_tease:

I played in a golf outing years ago with a group of lawyers. These guys had 10 different ways to say someone was a liar without actually calling them a liar since that is a no-no in court.

"Stated a blatant falsehood" and "Complete misrepresentation of the facts" were 2 of my favorites.

Wrong. Game was on NFL replay last night. It was the 1st series (2nd or 3rd play) and it was dirty. And it clearly happened after the whistle.

It wasn't the only time Steward hit someone WAY after the play. He was doing it the whole game.

Fuk the refs. Carollo can eat a dick!

IMO, Steward was consistently the guy who was being a turd. :icon_sad:

The other guys?? Vanden Bosch is a beast - Haynesworth is a large, angry man - the rest?? IDK - never watched TN much. I'll say it again - the league will decide if there was any punishable play. We can "Peyton Place" it all we want, but that's the bottom line.

Football is a rough sport. Love & war? :icon_shrug:

Last Sunday was a war. We won. To the victors go the spoils.

To the team - STFU & go play ball.
