Just throwing this out there, for this season and possibly next season what would be a good road game to go and support the Bolts? A division rival? An East coast team? Where would you like to see the Bolts play away from San Diego? And Go!

    Thanks,

    Pointy

Somewhere with good (and hopefully cheap) flight connections to and from the UK!

I went to Arrowhead about 4 years ago (only a 2 hour drive from my place) when the Bolts wore their white on white 60's throwbacks(the only time they have I believe) and they blew the Queefs outta the stadium.... the stadium was practically empty at the 3rd quarter.....had a great time....the Queef fans were surprisingly really cool to us Bolt backers.
I definitely wanna do it again.....the only thing is, is it's gotta be when we play them at KC early in the year....before it gets ridiculously cold.....

I was thinking about Houston this year since I relocated to Austin 2 years ago from the SF Bay Area.

    That SF roady was EPIC.:bolt:

Not sure if that thread is still in an archive somewhere. Was on the old forum software.

If the Houston game wasn't around Thanksgiving I'd probably be able to make it there.

    Yeah that's one major drawback.

Of course, given my current plans and the Chargers away game schedule I don't think any of them would fit conveniently since I'm already locked into the 11/13 home game.

I might look into an away game next year and see if we're planning one like this then as well before deciding on which one.

This, of course, assumes it's still the San Diego Chargers we're talking about, but that goes without saying.

Looks like the Chargers will be in New York twice next year.

That may be a good excuse to go back there.

Although, I've already been to MetLife Stadium before, albeit for a concert and not a game.

Houston would be out for air fare reasons. Expensive to fly that time.

Anyone planning a road trip to see the Bolts play somewhere besides San Diego this season?

I got a trip planned for Atlanta. Was hoping to pick a place where we would win, but with how we have been losing people left and right, not looking great.

I used to check in with the folks at Bolt Pride as well, and they have at least one out of town trip. They also have that Las Vegas weekend for a Chargers away game, don't know if they still do that since Michael's Pub is no longer there.

They do a pretty massive tailgate in Denver (or at least when i wen a few years ago). Ill try to find out which satellite lot but there is a bunch of Denver Charger fans that gather every game. Denver is a pretty good spot to travel. Except that creepy *** denver airport that makes you feel like your on drugs....and not the good kind either lol. Or maybe that was just jet lag??

I am down to do a road trip. Lets plan this sucker.

Vegas Rick finally gave the place up, wasn't making any money. Four Sevens? Nice. I wonder what part of town that is in?

Had a chat with Alvarez earlier. Bolt Pride doesn't have the yearly Vegas trip anymore, but they are going to DEN and ATL for road games! I told him that I am contemplating DEN.

I'm not going to be able to do a road trip this season, but have my eye on either Dallas or one of the New York games next season. I really wouldn't mind checking out the Cowboys stadium
