I've never seen a 50+ yd field goal on 4th and inches that I didn't love. It's about doing what's best for the football team. #playnottolose

I would punt on 3rd down if it was socially acceptable. That would rev my engine as much as a rousing game of canasta.

Former Chargers RB Andre Williams still earns Week 3 regular-season pay. Theoretically, could return next week if he clears waivers Monday.

Uhh... he didn't keep his body in shape? Because of a hamstring strain? I'm not sure you're connecting the dots very well.

He hadn't practiced with us since May. He was fine to run in the combine. But when he got his money he's hurt.

Well first, literally everyone with actual knowledge of the situation said that he reported in great shape and had clearly been working. Coaches, teammates, reporters, you name it. Secondly, it's super common for players to get nicked or injured after a hold out as they try to get up to speed in a hurry. I think it's ridiculous to accuse him of faking an injury just because this Micky mouse organization took 4 months to get their act together.

The version I heard was that Bosa got injured that first morning in the weight room.

He has talked numerous times about being out there for and with his teammates.

The PrimaBosa label has been placed on Joey Bosa without foundation.

It suit me fine if we take it slow, and Joey crushes it in December.

Philon, Liuget, and Reid are giving us disruption.

I am quite bullish on our defense.

All I'm saying is this injury is more than likely being toughted as worse than it is. He wanted his money up front for the sole reason most rookies do, the fear of injury. His family has history with the injury bug. It can't be denied. The kid needs to see the field, hes yet to see the field as an nfl player.I mean Lets be real. He's missed 6 games. 4 preseason 2 regular season. Its just gonna get harder for him to adjust the longer he puts it off.

There's no reason to believe that's true. He was going to get it all, regardless of injury. He wanted a certain amount up front because a) there is value to having money sooner for purposes of investment and b) he wanted to be treated in accordance with his draft slot.

If you think he was hedging against injury, I would recommend revisiting the nature of rookie contracts and the substance of the holdout.

As to the injury, he would seem to be past it. He practiced this week. As to when he will play, that's not his call. The staff has to decide. Clearly they want him to get at least one more week of practice.
