Chandler getting hurt last year killed him. He must not be recovering very well.

Tribble... well... what else is there to say? poof endorsed him... so there's his kiss of death.

Tribble was just too much trouble

Yeah 2007 and 2008 are definitely poor drafts so far. Only good out of those drafts are Weddle, Cason, Naane, Hester and maybe clark

A fourth and sixth round draft pick.

We can't except AJ to hit one out of the park every time

I get it out of the way initially and then its all taken care of, no one else is going to talk about it from here on in. Don't thank me for the public service

and I'm spoiled I want AJ to hit on every pick

    True.

The best drafting team in the last 5yrs (based on players who made the team) was the freakin Texans.

The worst.......New England. Only because they are so talented, and its the same with the Chargers.

I thought Chandler had a lot of potential.

When he got injured it really hurt him, he was doing very well. I guess he didn't recover well, or it set him back too far.

Chandler was a slug, possibly a little quicker. i'll give him turtle speed, but that is it. Seriously, he was tall and had good hands on blocks but he's too slow to do anything as TE. Again, no loss here...

Those 2 won't be the only names you know that will be released. There will be guys cut that you do expect and some you don't. It's a numbers game and they can only keep 53, so with all these new guys, somebody has got to go. Not surprised by either one but more are coming (Wilhelm?)

A 4.75 forty time isn't fast, but it isn't sluggish.

Wilhelm? Hart? Any other starter someone cares to mention that has proven less than worthy of their position?

I hope this means that AJ has a couple of TE's in mind on the UFDA ranks. If my memory hasn't been corroded by old timer's disease, that leaves us with only two.

I thought that too, but I guess in emergency naanee could line up at te and we have a few h back type.

Well, it's not like Chandler has contributed in the last couple years... so AJ doesn't really have to have any other plan than the one they've used during that time.

TEs like that are easy to find.

    Right? :icon_shrug:

The writing was on the wall for Chandler when they IR'd him after he 'broke a nail'. The guy never got a fair chance for me. Was he really that bad?. What a waste, like I say never got a sniff of a chance.

As for Tribble. Again he was supposed to be a good un but then he falls in the draft. So u gotta question whether he was ever up to much in the first place.....

    What a waste.

Can't Naanee and Kris Wilson (listed as FB), the guy they got from KC last season play TE too? If not, maybe they do have another TE in mind....:icon_huh:
