Rocker JON BON JOVI has his heart set on owning a team in America's National Football League (NFL) - and he already has his eye on the Oakland Raiders. The HAVE A NICE DAY star is a co-owner of the Philadelphia Soul team which competes in the less prestigious Arena Football League (AFL), but he would love to upgrade to the Californian team. He says, "I want to buy the Raiders. To own an NFL team: that's the dream."

I see he is going for the cheapest one to buy and their theme song could be "Living on a Prayer".:icon_rofl: :icon_rofl: :icon_rofl:

Imagine being a player walking through the tunnel to the field expecting to hear Hell's Bells but instead you get:
"WHOA OH... LIVIN' ON A PRAYER!!!"

Sad though, he would actually be an improvement over current ownership.

    Bon Jovi Rocks!:rockout:

But what he'd want with the raiders is beyond comprehension. Al Davis will take that team to the grave with him, thankfully. Dude's got one foot in already...

And that livin on a prayer comment was pretty funny.

Oh why not? He may be able to get them cheap since they are in disaray.

You dont think Bon Jovi could make better decisions than Al Davis has made these days?

Damn. I guess being a glam-rock star in a hair-band in late eighties and early nineties must have paid really, really, REALLY well. I mean, you're only talking about something like a $500 million investment to buy a cheap NFL franchise.

    Philly Soul
They're a pretty decent team too

Zthe raiders are basically living on a prayer so why not, but why would you want to buy a crappy team like that?

    NNNOOOOOOOOOOO...........

Thats bad, as long as he is alive, they will continue to be bottom dwellers!!!!!

Do not let him die, we need to get a group of people ready, we need to donate body parts to keep him alive! No one else can run that team into the ground like he has, as soon he he dies, they will get some people in there that know football, and they will climb out of the basement!

Keep that crotchity old bastard alive!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think he actualy does (or did) own an Arena League team. I saw something about that when I was flipping through channels a few years back.

Maybe Matt Millen will buy the team out from under Bon Jovi!

And Bon Jovi still rocks! I'm gonna blast Wanted Dead or Alive for 2 hours straight in the parking lot in 2 weeks and everyone is welcome to rock it old school like I do! And then I'm gonna play some Def Leppard for good measure. :icon_banana:

Throw in some Poison and White Lion and your "eighties prom-rock" motif will be complete.

White Snake still has my all time favorite video .... Tawny Kitaen

Looks like a couple nip slips around 1:06 and 1:14 of this behind the scenes video of the MTV shoot.

Hey, what could be more hardcore than an anal-retentive, anorexic white chick? "Close to You" rocks. :rockout:

This won't affect my forum cred, will it?
