    Geez, I do not know what to think. I was actually joking around with my buddy a couple month back about remaking some 50s/60s sci-fi classics and that was one of them! It sounds tough to swallow. "The Mummy" was actually tasteful and well done for a classic remake. If they pull it off in that sort of way then kudos to Breck Eisner.

    The original may be a cheesy movie by today's standards, but it is still a classic. Could you imagine if they remade "The Day The Earth Stood Still" or some other Harryhausen movies? That would almost be sinful!
