I was reading this thread. http://www.broncosforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=81844

I haven't gone all the way through it yet, but I found this post particularly amusing.

The Steelers kicker outscored their offense tonight, and he was only in for about 8 plays. :icon_rofl:

The Broncos are who we thought they were.

Don't let them off the hook.

    Thanks, Denny.

They get a gift next week facing the Redskins. That should give them some false hope.

We have to beat the Eagles. Not an easy task.

Let's not waste this opportunity, Chargers.

yep...6 sacks and a bunch of blown tackles on the only TD of the day will do that.

Hopefully they drop another stinker in the Q on Sunday afternoon; who knows, maybe the Redskins will show up and actually challenge the Donkos.

I was sort of surprised when they put up the ages of the Denver secondary. These guys are "old" in NFL years. (And REALLY old in 'dog' years.)

I really don't see how that secondary can keep up with our receivers for a whole game. We really need to exploit that next time. Run their sorry butts into the ground. By the end of the game we should be throwing long on every set of downs. Dawkins is 36.... at some point VJ should be able to smoke that guy.... along with that Bailey fossil.

Yeah, but lets face it. They are still playing solid defense, and they have beaten us. We have to take advantage of every opportunity and beat them when we play again this season.

    old guys rule!!!

They may be old but they have experience. Give them a couple of games of playing together; they might just be one of the best secondary’s in the league this year. Then again old man time could kick in and we will have to break out the wheel chairs to get them into coverage.

During last night's game, I was texting a friend of mine who lives in Denver. He's a longtime skins fan. I said "maybe your skins will beat Denver next week". He replied "they (skins) will find a way to disappoint us".

The Redskins do have a decent defense, but their offense is pathetic.

I won't comment on the Donkeys because they haven't won shiit yet... and neither have we.

Don't listen to a Bronco Cry Baby before we past them.

There's 8 games to play, much to win or to get lost.

I wouldn't say that. Though compared to the Steelers... most teams suck.

But the meltdown probably will happen due to our schedule getting easy as their's gets hard.

While the Chargers must continue to win, the Broncos are the team with a former Bear quarterback running their offense. That's good for us in the long run. Give Orton time.

"Now if you want to crown them, then crown their ***!"

Keep in mind, the Steelers embarrassed us! :icon_evil:
I don't see any reason for bragging rights right now.

whats to be embarrassed, we put 28 points up on the Steelers. Thats the most any one team has done all season. And we played a very ****** game that game.

The last two times we've played, IN PITTSBURGH, our offense has been able to score at least 3 TDs on them each time.

That's the most they've allowed any team to do in 15 games other than Tennessee last year (where the Titans also stomped on a terrible towel).

It's our defense that hasn't been able to limit them to less than 30 points the last two times we've played them.

What was the score at halftime? Our defense got slaughtered and we were scoreless.

Now it did get somewhat entertaining in the fourth quarter but the Steelers controlled that game. Merriman looked like a lost child.

I'd take our game vs the Steelers rather than the Broncos game. We looked lost, confused, and weak out there...and Rivers still rallied the offense to make it close. The defense just couldn't get a stop, and they are playing MUCH better now. Johnson and Scott have really helped, didn't I read we only had 4 d-linemen in that game? Merriman wasn't full strength, obviously and we made them sweat at the end.

Denver played them tough for a half, but NEVER scored an offensive TD. Can't throw deep, and can't run the ball. Pitt carved them up the second half.

Which team would you rather be?

The thing lost by many in the Redskins terrible season, is their defense is pretty darn good. Denver's offense looks weak. This could be closer than most would think, and I actually give the Redskins a shot in this one.

The plan is to win our division while Cincy wins theirs. That would make Pitt the wildcard and they'd have to come here to play us.

and with all that we put up 28 points.

How many other teams have done that this year?

Pittsburgh is beatable, and we can do it!

Thank god they play TWO halves of a football game!

Fact is Denver has 3 points on offense. Our defense looks better than Denver's offense.

Lets also not forget we played at the Burg and Pitts played Denver at Mile High. I would hate to see the score if they played at the Burg.

I agree our defense was being ran over by the Steelers. However, we looked better in the end then Denver.

Also remember this, the Steelers ran all ovr the Donks and last I saw Portis was out because of a concussion. Not sure if he is going to be back or not for the Donks.
