The Redskins without Portis, without Cooly, without their 2 best O-linemen!

Denver was a fraud, and now its obvious.

Yeh... it just makes the cowbows and patriots not look to good either! They would have lost to cincy if it wasn't for a once in a lifetime occurrence. We should already be division leaders!

Remember Dallas was in complete flux when they went into Denver. Romo was missing wide open recievers, Barber and Jones were hurt, they had no identity and all the talk was "when is Wade going to get fired."

Same with New England for that matter, they had scraped a couple lucky wins but Brady was gittery in the pocket and missed WIDE OPEN Randy Moss for a gimmie TD.

Not to mention one of Orton's TDs that was horribly underthrown and somehow went through the Cowboys defender and into the unsuspecting chest of Knowshawn Mareno.

And it should have been a pick 6 because there was nothing but daylight in front of the Cowboys defender.

    Sweet.

As much as Orton sucks, Chris Simms is even worse. :icon_twisted:

You don't seem so sure about it anymore, though.

So either change it... or go back to babbling with B4L.

I totally agree, Denver got away with facing some good teams at shaky moments. Add to that our Chargers were still dealing with injuries, getting things settled in the secondary, and adjusting to the fact that our running game was not stepping up at the time.

Lets not ignore one important fact though: Denver still plays very physical D, something that tends to give the Chargers trouble. As boosted as I am by today's Charger win and their loss (to the Redskins lol), we still need to beat them in Denver and they will definitely be coming in pissed and ready to play.

That said how satisfying is it that after all the talk about "oh nobody's come back from being FOUR games behind"... here we are half a game behind them with a chance to retake the AFC West next week for the SECOND straight year in a row. Thankfully this time it comes a little over halfway through the season instead of right at the very end and we have a solid, winning record! Go BOLTS!:abq1:

Forgot to mention something in our favor. No Kyle Orton possibly? Not sure how injured he is but it sounded bad if it took him out that early...

I heard a statistic today that Norv actually became the winningest coach ever for the Chargers as of todays win.

Simms completed 3 of 13 passes for 13 yards and an interception, which translates to a passer rating of 7.5

    From ESPN.com

Sadly.... Its because he wasn't here for the good old days. He just jumped on the bandwagon like most of the fans!

Norv's winning percentage is now .609

    Sid Gillman was .619

Norv has to win next week to get that.

If he finishes the season at 11-5 or better he has it.

Totally agree...Chris Simms looked lost out there today. He has not gotten much work over the years. Big day for the "D" next week!

The Donks are in a tail spin and I don’t think their young coach has the experience to pull them out of it! No Orton next week just complicates the situation.

    Donks are going DOWN!
