Sounds a lot like 2009 when the Raider physically beat the crap out of us in the opening game

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...ters-including-dumervil-and-bailey-need-mris/

"Four key Broncos starters need MRIs Tuesday according to Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post. Defensive end Elvis Dumervil (shoulder), cornerback Champ Bailey (hamstring), Brandon Lloyd (groin), and Knowshon Moreno (hamstring) all suffered injuries."

It was the wet turf more than the Raiders. Both teams looked bad to me. I will say that the Raiders and Broncos should change their team colors to yellow. There was a falg after almost every play.

Were there any injuries sustained to any of the opposing players?

there also seemed to be a lot of "Scuffles" at the end of a lot of plays.

That game was all sorts of ridiculous... I'm surprised not more players were hurt with how aggressive and down right sloppy both sides were playing. If they were fighting they were getting flagged for something on nearly every play.

That game was ugly. The ref's must have gotten carpal tunnel throwing so much laundry around. The Raiders are going to be the best under 500 team this year. They have a stout D, a great back in McFadden. But they are a bunch of Wonderlic failing street thugs. They try to hurt people, they take cheap shots, they do all this **** right when the zebras are staring at them. They had damn near 20 flags last night. They had 99 passing yards. When they play a good team that doesnt play into their thuggery they will get toasted 42-7. Stupidity has no cure. The Broncos just looked terrible. Couldnt run the ball, couldnt tackle. Orton really looked bad. Broncos may when 4 or 5 this year. Raiders go 7-9. And if they keep it up the Raiders could set the record for player fines in a year this year. Was Romanowski playing out there?

Dilfer did mention that one of the things Hue Jackson said to them was that he wanted to build the Raiders into a "bully". So get ready for a shitload of cheap shots, penalty flags, and injuries wherever they go.

Uh, what's different about that statement? Sounds like the same old crap team that we all know and hate... They spend two weeks in training camp every summer just learning new techniques in the cheap shot department...

I believe Dumerville has a serious injury, but I haven't kept up with that.

4 Broncos had to have MRI's after the game. Reminds me of when LT got kidney punched by the schmuck LB from the Raiders at the bottom of the pile and cracked a rib. **** like that ought to draw police reports not flags.

Nothing we aren't used to, but it was apparent early in the game that every single Raiders player was going out of their way to be a tough guy, standing over players after they tackled them, late shots, ect. They have always been dirty, yes, but the fact the coach wants to focus on being even more dirty says a lot to me and tells me ****'s gonna get really ugly in a lot of Raiders games this year.

That's okay, they are probably just pissed off that they can't have tailgates anymore...

Just to clear this up, the word of the day is "Wrath" and not rath. Wrath is an act of hate, rath is a brand of bacon...
