Lofa Tatupu would be nice, and the hawks are planning on releasing him, but the cost.....

Tatupu's last 3 years haven't been that great...... it's hard to say what his worth is right now.

Sanders has a backup who has started. Tatupu wouldn't.

What happened to AJ's "We have a plan and are going to execute it?"

Did that include no one at weakside ILB who has ever started in the NFL?

If he waits too long, all he'll have left is the rotting, maggot-infested variety.
    You know, like Cooper ;)

Look at teams that just drafted 1st or 2nd round ILB prospects...... there're your likely targets. ;)

I agree, but you might even want to include teams in the early to mid 3rd who drafted ILB's, because typically the value for MLB's (especially guys in the 4-3, but typically a lot of college MIKE's are moved to SAM in the pro's) doesn't kick in till the 2nd round (unless they're elite prospects).

    Teams I'm watching:
Tennessee (Depending on how young they want to go in their LB corps and how quickly Ayers and Ruud catch on) for Will Witherspoon
Dallas for Keith Brooking (as is he's likely to lose his starting spot to Sean Lee this year, if not at least most of his reps)
Denver for Mario Haggan (Not saying he's particularly good or anything, but he has experience at ILB, is a better 3-4 fit than 4-3 fit, and isn't going to be wrestling first team reps away from Williams, Miller, and Joe Mays.)

But really we're already seeing the releases occur. (Seattle KJ Wright -> Tatupu, Tampa Mason Foster -> Ruud)
