Raiders | M. Bush being shopped
    Fri, 27 Feb 2009 19:19:22 -0800

Jim Flynn, of PewterReport.com, reports the Oakland Raiders are shopping RB Michael Bush to several teams.

The Bucs are already showing interest...anyone think AJ will look in to it?

AJ tried to get him before the deadline, not sure if he'll try again but he has shown interest before.

He'd be good and we know AJ was quite interested. I wonder if we'll go after him.

IMO, even Al Davis isn't senile enough to trade within the division. :icon_banana:

Sure he may only be a bit senile... But at least he's 100% ugly...

BTW... M. Bush would fit nice with here in SD... It would give us a power back, a scat back and a finesse back.

Yes but since we are in the same division...who knows. Al is senile so maybe he will take Hart and a 6th for him

The Raiders are looking for receivers, would you trade Floyd for Bush? Floyd will be a FA next year and I doubt they'd resign him with everybody else due to get paid.

Like TBF said, Bush would be a perfect fit. He's a poor man’s MT.

I agree, if anything trade Fargas. McFadden and Bush is a nice 1-2 punch.

I'm sure they'd rather trade Fargas, but I read they're considering to deal Bush instead because Fargas has a bigger deal and would be harder to deal.

Bush is under contract for about 500k a year for the next two years. At this price he'd be a steal. It's just too damn bad he plays for the Raiders. I doubt Al davis would ever make a trade within the division.

    Michael Bush's rookie contract:

    7/25/2007: Signed a four-year, $2.165 million contract. The deal included a $500,000 signing bonus. 2009: $460,000, 2010: $550,000, 2011: Free Agent

No brainer pickup if they can get him. Would be a perfect compliment back to LT and Sproles. Chances are quite low I would think that Al would do a deal with us.

I just don't know how we could extract him from the raiders and for what price when we tried already
