Maybe it's just because I'm a 35 year-old WASP, but can someone explain to me why a player would taunt another player to begin with? I played organized sports for 9 years from the time I was nine years old, and never once did I have the desire to taunt an opponent no matter how much of a rivalry it was. I always figured the scoreboard was the ultimate taunt.

To me it just makes players look selfish and less admirable. It makes me not want that player to succeed. Are there fans out there that watch that kind of stuff and "Hahaha!! That guy is SO sick, look at him taunt that guy!!"
