Nice to see them involved. We have SO many weapons, We should be able to open the offense and light up the scoreboard EVERY week!!!

Certainly offense does not appear to be our problem.

Every time Tolbert touches the ball, something special seems to happen.

...My only advice for Tolbert is...JUST TURN THAT 245 LB. bowling ball of a frame, in a north and south direction, as soon as you catch the ball. I think he could have pile driven for a couple of 1st downs but he went horizontal instead.

They need to find a way to get Davis more involved

hes a playmaker with all the tools to be a top flight WR, but because of injuries just hasnt been able to show it

I think if we start using that 3 WR-1 TE set more often, the offense will be unstoppable. No team can stop those 4 and LT with Rivers throwing the ball. If our OL keeps this up, we will easily pass up the NFLs new chosen team as the #1 offense in the NFL

Young players get excited and want to make big things happen. The instincts to turn upfield will develop after it sinks in that the shortest distance is a straight line. You can dance around that North-South axis after you're moving along it at speed. Safer, too.

Mike Tolbert has been awesome so far. :abq1::abq2:

He's huge, but has the hands of a receiver. It's nice having two threats out of the backfield, now. (No disrespect to LO)

He's still learning, give him time! He'll soon realize that he will be more effective running straight up the field.

I get excited every time I see him catch the ball!

Davis only had 3 catches on the night, but they were all on 3rd & long and he converted them all into crucial 1st downs....

Norv, Philip & our offense is going to make teams pick their poison....they can concentrate their defensive efforts on LT, Gates or Chambers and we'll just beat them with VJ, Sproles, Davis, Tolbert or Nanee!

He might be a moron, but maybe he IS and idiot. We'll have to test. These days, the words are completely synonymous. But back in the dark days of psychology (which is to say until about 30 years ago), there was a difference, and here’s the quick trick psychologists used: Ask a question. If your subject answers, they’re a moron at worst. If they don’t answer, you might have an idiot on your hands.

I loved seeing Buster get his chance... it looks like he got it at the expense of my Man 'Legs'. Those are the type of plays I thought I would see him getting.

Amazing to think we had Chambers, Jackson, Buster, Kassim, Legs and Floyd all dressed mon nite. Is that a record?. Hope to see some of Malcom on the O some day.

Add in Gates, Manu, LT, Sproles and Tolbert and we now have a legitimate receiving threat, that defenses must account for, at every skill position.

Am I being hyperbolic to suggest this could be the most explosive air attack we've had since Coryell?

The Norv has to consider whether our era of the "run-first between the tackles O " is over. We need balance, but I still sense a reluctance to go vertical early even when we have the beating of a team through the air.

Chambers and VJ look as though they could burn up this league.
