    This is probably a podcast question....

    After watching Monday's game VS Colts.

    Do you think this team can beat Denver? (NOW)(KC hasn't really played anyone yet. No discounting them.)

    Colts Beat (SEA and 49ers in back to back games)

    I know the Bolts are inconsistent. (Beating teams we were expected to lose to and ETC). This is probably in everyone's mind right now.

    I think that if the Offense continues to click and eat up the clock, and the D can get those stops consistently, then yes. But the Secondary is a really big part of that 'if' against Manning.

    The difference is, that holding Manning to only 21 minutes & 29 seconds of possession time,
    means he "only" has time to throw six TD passes... :p

    p.s. Let's hope Chargers don't have How We Can Beat Denver! up this week...

    Only if Pagano implements the ThunderHammer defense.

    Thunderhammer was one thing, but if we could get our hands on Warhammer strats, we'd be undefeatable.
    1cg was hilarious.

    Yes absolutely. If we can get our act together on pass D. Also note that our O should be more than good enough for their D. Should be good match up.

    do the Chargers play the broncos on an odd week or an even week?

    Even = win
    Odd = loss

    We CAN beat them but I don't have the confidence in our defense to slow down the Denver offense... it'd either be a crazy shoot-out (like they had with Dallas where whomever has the ball last wins) or a game similar to the one we played Monday with us scoring 7's vs. 3's and keeping Peyton on the bench most of the night.

    There's NOTHING I would like more this season than to see us shut those jackhole Donkey fans up and send 'em home with empty wallets and eyes full of tears (KC and Oak too of course). So I'll keep my hopes alive for that game but I won't be shocked if it doesn't work out in our favor. This squad is waaaay too inconsistent to make reliable predictions.

    Couldn't agree more. With a stiff upper lip and a lucky bounce or two,
    this team can beat anyone, Donks included.

    On the other hand: I hope McCoy reminds the Hell out of these guys,
    that it was Denver 14, Jacksonville 12 at the half last Sunday...
    and it's the first time Manning was held under 300 yards (295) since
    10/7/85 (PM was 9 & 1/2). [Okay, still fact-checking that last nugget]

    Jags are very hungry for a win, in TarpLandia

    A single 60 minute Charger possession, capped off by a TD. Let's do it, PR17.

    Stupid half-time spoils an otherwise airtight plan!

    (p.s. I'd have settled for a field goal...why be greedy?)

    Dont take questions like that to heart... Civility sometimes goes out the window... Or the tattered remnants of what used to be a window here...

    Our play style on offense is the gameplan to beat a Manning team. Keep him on the sideline for as much of the game as you can. The problem is, the other half of that gameplan is consistent pressure on him, and I just don't have faith we can do that. If you give him time he will beat any secondary, especially ours. If you hit him a lot he gets happy feet, he loses accuracy, makes dumb decisions (6 picks in 1 game when we were constantly hitting him). But I don't thin we have the LB's to pull it off.

    Yes that Jaguar was on a mission. Amazing how quiet it was through water. If Jax had that type of focus, we'd be in trouble. Let's just hope our team is a bit more concerned than that caiman.

    The way I look at this question, we need to worry about our next two opponents, one game at a time before we can begin to figure out if we can beat the burros.

    Jags have more talent than the Turds, JMO.

    MJD, Blackmon, Shorts, And Lewis make for a sneaky potent offense if Henne isn't pressured.

    Gotta take this one seriously.
