I thought it was a generalized "Saturday divisional playoff discussion", not a gameday-style catalog of spam that gets 1000 posts by the time the game is over.

    My apologies *hides*

I'd say use this one because it doesn't really matter who starts the thread, but the other one is geared towards both games and I don't think we need a separate one for both games since we're neutral to them.

Arizona's D looks like it is more ready to play today, than it looked last Sunday. Not hard given the last outing they had!

How so? Because it took the Saints a little longer to score a TD than it was taking Green Bay?

So can anyone explain where the defence have went in the playoff. Neither of these teams will win the superbowl with the way their Ds are playing

Nevermind I guess my judgement from the first play on NOs defence was a bit hasty

New Orleans would be a rough opponent for our D. They have a lot of weapons as well. Vikings not as much versatility on O, but a really respectable D.

Arizona is having their typical issues with fundamental football--tackling, possession...they are going to be blown out at this rate.

I dont think it will be a blow out, not with that O. But they will lose as Reggie runs around and through their D for a TD....

    Missed tackles on that run.

Arizona's putting on a tackling clinic.

Today's lesson plan is what NOT to do when trying to wrap up the ball carrier.

This is what I am hoping for tomorrow. Our offense comes out and drives right down the field and the defense feeds off of that. Then when the offense is back on the field that the Jets defense starts to panic at some point and starts to over pursue.

    One can only hope......no?

Rog-Cro doubtful to return because of that STUPID all-or-nothing missed tackle on Henderson...I am glad that our Cro is starting to shy away from plays of that nature.

A great Sharper interception and a terrible throw negated by a Brady rule :/.

I want the Saints to win the NFC and let us have a shot at them in Miami. They scare me but who wants a boring Superbowl anyway? Also, whoever wanted us to take Beanie Wells, the dude is a dud in the passing game. I never thought a talented player could be such a useless blocker and weak kneed receiver.

This is a pure clinic of what a GOOD offense can do. Saints aren't too different then us in terms of weapons. You may be able to shut down one guy but they (and us) have them 3 deep after that. :icon_toast:

I'd love to see us come out with a 4 wide formation with either LT or Sproles in the backfield and see how we can run from that formation.

...that could have been the final play of Kurt Warner's career.

He looked concussed. And if that is the case, he may file his retirement papers.

    EDIT: Thankfully, he looks ok.
