Charger from 1963 Championship Team Passes Away...

    Gary Glick was at the end of his career when he came to the Chargers in 1963,
    but he was one of the guys that made up what might have been the best
    San Diego club of all-time...and an offensive team that likely could have been able (after destroying Boston 51-10)
    to beat George Allen's mighty defense in Chicago...if the NFL would've had the guts to try to beat
    Alworth, Lincoln & Lowe. Unfortunately it would be a few more years before AFL Champs
    had the right to play in a Super Bowl...

    Glick had been the #1 overall pick in the '56 draft, and played in the
    Pro Bowl in 3 of his 7 NFL seasons before putting on the bolts.

    R.I.P., former Charger AFL champion.
