How does one even place a bet in San Diego? Sister in law lives in LV, maybe should get her to lay down $20 for me just for kicks and grins.
PS thanks jackfrost for the sympathy post ha ha

Last year, one of my co-workers went to Vegas so I had him put the bet down for me.

Only 75/1 ? ? ? Where the Hell's all that :poop: Cleveland :poop: money coming from!?!
    MadMike's kid's piggy bank?

Actually these numbers look pretty reasonable to me...though my experience is that if you
try to actually get that 40/1 in Vegas, the West Coast $$$ usually will have driven it lower.
A little surprising to see Chiefs fully twice as likely to win it as Raiders...

In '09 pre-season I thought the Chargers looked great, put down a pile on the Chargers to win it all,
and--on the 11 game winning streak--was feeling like a genius. Nate!!!!!

In '10 I put down a decent chunk, but more out of desire & hope than belief.

For '11 & '12 I just couldn't seriously envision Chargers winning it all. No wager.

'13? I have dreams but no faith. Mathews? I still like him, but only an idiot would count on him.
Geez, even Rivers: Which Rivers will show up out there? Gates? Can he still be a force?
Can a mostly new defense gel in time? In short: No way I'm wagering a dollar on this unpredictable outfit.

Mate, there's plenty of "legal books" on the Net these days, even though the good Ol' USA is the last great bastion of supposed, non gambling......checkout a place like Sportsbook.com for example, I have an account with them that I used to bet on the nags back here in Australia when I lived over there, works just fine.

Your very welcome, Im always good for the Ol' sympathy post mate ..... ;)

..as far as winning the SB ?????

Hahahahahaha, that's what's known as a "suckers bet" mate.

...and I highly doubt that your prediction of 6 wins or thereabouts, will be getting us a collect anytime soon mate. :)

    Tip for you Lancelot ......

NEVER bet on the Chargers mate, the Bookies love the sentimental punters. ;)

i might put $20 down or something. if the odds are anything like that, ill be a happy man if they win. if not, its only $20.

i might actually be in New York around Superbowl time next year too.. seeing what I can organise for a special outdoor hockey game at Yankee Stadium with my Devils against their bitter rivals the Rangers.
Being in town for a Superbowl could be one hell of an experience.
