(Photo by Christian Petersen/Getty Images)" align="left" height="244" width="164" />The Chargers (2-3) squad that hit the field this week in Denver looked nothing like the team that we booed off the field last week. Maybe- that finally woke them up- hearing it from the home crowd. Denver never had a chance- falling 41-3 to a fired up, and frustrated Charger team that hit the field with a vengeance."  What ever it takes, I guess its up to us to turn Norv into a Charger; we did it with Marty..."  GET FIRED UP.

San Diego got right to work today for a change- moving crisply down the field on the opening drive, with Rivers working LT and Gates for big gains. PR finished the drive himself, scoring on a naked bootleg from the 3- TOUCHDOWN CHARGERS!!
It seems like forever since we had a lead- this is sweet...

    7-0 Bolts lets go...

Denver gave the Chargers the helping hand they have been looking for on the following kickoff, fumbling away the ball to special teamer Brandon Siler.
Siler Rumbled and Stumbled his way to the End zone-
TOUCHDOWN CHARGERS!" "  I can feel the DNA re-knitting itself in my brain, I might be able to tie my own shoes again soon...

14-0 Chargers- this is what we have been looking for, heads up, and smart play.
That's all I ask, for the Chargers not to suck... I apologize for my frustration in the last few weeks, When the Chargers play bad, it freakin hurts..."  that's my TEAM...

Given a lead, the D responded by forcing Denver WR Brandon Marshall to fumble the ball right back to San Diego. Beautiful...

So ended the first quarter 14-0 Chargers - they are playing with INTENSITY...
Something sorely lacking the last 3 weeks...

LT finally seems to be finding some room, running with power, taking the Bolts quickly to the Denver 8 yard line. But Rivers missed LT with the 3rd down swing pass, forcing Nate Kaeding to take the chip shot FG.
    ITS GOOD!!! -
Right now it's all good- how did that happen? I have been depressed all week...

    17-0 CHARGERS. nuff said...

Now comes the hard part, making it stick- we need to take it to 24-0 ASAP...

The game slowed down after that- with both teams playing solid D.

Denver managed to get into the red zone at the 2-minute warning, with Jay Cutler looking sharp on the drive. Incomplete, good play Wilhelm.
3rd and six, Clinton Hart wraps up Travis Henry on the swing pass, and K Jason Elam had to settle for 3. Its good

17-3 Chargers. This is exactly when we need to drive and score, because we get the ball back to begin the second half. We shall see...

Rivers takes the field with 1:08 left, and San Diego takes the conservative route, running the ball. Michael Turner had other plans, taking off on 3rd down for 49 yards. Beautiful!!! First and 10 at the Denver 16- Kaeding makes the FG, but its called back on holding. 2nd attempt... GOOD from 47- whew...

20-3 Chargers at the half!!!!" "  Gosh, I have been pissed for so long, I'm not sure how to act..."  :)

To open the 3rd quarter, San Diego needed to drive right down the field, and hammer home the lead- Rivers looks sharp, hitting Vincent Jackson.
3 penalties in a row, holding and illegal procedure, and delay- 2nd and 33.
Rivers to Jackson for 45 yards right down the middle!!! 1st down!!
That's what I'm talking about; you have to put people away.
Rivers to Gates TOUCHDOWN SAN DIEGO!!!!!!!
    Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....

27-3 Chargers---- I told my Chargers source that i trusted him last week when he told me that Norv would fix things. So far so good-
    Time to play DEFENSE...

Denver looks shell-shocked, and their fans are booing. No one is having fun at home in the AFC West this year- with KC, Oak and SD all losing their last home games. The division is in turmoil, with 2 new coaches...
Football is as hard to predict as anything I have ever seen.
The more you know, the less you know...

Denver fumbled after a catch and run, and Shanahan challenges-
Denver ball, good challenge- I despise Shanahan, but i respect him...

Jay Cutler goes for six from the 35- INTERCEPTION CHARGERS!!!
Marlon McCree- who fell down on the ball the way he should have last year...
Cutler never saw McCree, and threw a floater right to him.

    Verrrry Niceeeeee...

San Diego went right back to work, moving the ball, and running the clock.
We have waited all year to see this- no one can stop this team but itself.
Rivers to Gates, to the Denver 30- beautiful pass and catch!!
Rivers looks like he got serious in practice this week, with a great touch today.
I think everyone's (the fans) frustration comes from KNOWING this Charger team is unbeatable, all they have to do is play smart. We booed last week out of a concern about the team's state of mind. Marty was beloved, no matter what the front office will have people believe.
LOSING IS NOT AN OPTION THIS YEAR. GET ON IT :(
That was the message. It seems we were heard loud and clear, and as a ticket holder, i feel that's our job, to tell the team what we feel they need to do. Charger fans know football; we know what it takes to win.

Rivers to Gates again to the Denver 20, is that so hard? 1st down.
Vincent Jackson caught his third ball of the Quarter next- good for a CHARGERS TOUCHDOWN!!!!! Can't get enough of that...
Rivers made a great read, and laid the ball in there perfectly.
:)"  This is why I didn't go off last week, believe me, my first Chiefs draft story was not happy- and I decided not to post it. I BELEIVE in Norv... Have to...

34-3 Chargers- in Denver... I called it while being sarcastic last week...
That's the end of the 3rd- Mighty Quiet in Denver,
Like I said, no one having fun at home in the AFC West....

Denver finally caught a break, blocking a Mike Scifres punt and taking over possession in Charger territory. No matter- the D stuffed the Broncos on 3rd down. Forced to go for it on 4th down, Jay Cutler comes up short on the keeper. CHARGER BALL. Winning in Denver is always a good sign. As mad as I was last week, I stayed in my seat until after the game- the stands in Denver are emptying fast...

Michael Turner turns the corner at the 25-yard line and rolls 74 yards for the Easy 6- TOUCHDOWN CHARGERS!!!!!!!!!" " "  Just like that, Turner turned on the juice- No one ever really touched him- great blocking downfield-fantastic run!!!

41-3 Chargers- Now I am in reverse shock- WOW.
Feast or famine... football is WEIRD. I know nothing...

This is fantastic, I think the mood around town will be better, and as soon as this game is over- its RAIDER WEEK. I have no plans to lose to them at home this Sunday.

Cutler goes deep, but Drayton Florence makes a nice play, deflecting the ball from Brandon Marshall. Chargers LB Stephen Cooper with the sack- this is AWESOME! Denver is done for today- I will sleep well tonight...

    This game is over- final
CHARGERS 41"  BRONCOS 3- Biggest loss ever at home for DENVER!!!!"  :)
Charger smiles on the sidelines- very nice!!! Everyone take a chill pill this week, and lets get back to work...

This was the performance everyone expected from the Bolts against the Patriots, hopefully, we get another shot at them.
    BRING ON RAIDER WEEK!!!
    WE are not done yet!!!!
C ya at the Q Sunday.
