With the 50th pick in the 2nd round, the Chargers addressed there offensive tackle postion by drafting Marcus McNeil from Auburn.

Pros: at 6'8, 340 he is the definition of a giant. Excellent run blocker who can punish a DL on any level. Very strong at first contact and tries to drive through the player on every play. He can hold a clinic on how to pancake opponents. Hasn't given up a sack in 41 straight games.
Cons: Has shown weakness against pure pass rushers but with his wing span he should be able to recover from some of his mistakes. Must work on his footwork before he can truly have an all around game and be considered elite.
