Everything is going the San Diego Chargers’ way in the AFC West these days.

The Chargers are four-time defending division champion and are the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs, have a decent head start for the 2010 season.

The Chargers are tied with the 29th easiest schedule in 2010 based on the 2009 regular-season results. The Chargers’ 2010 opponents had a combined winning percentage of .453 in 2009. Oakland has the toughest schedule of the AFC West teams in 2010. Its 2009 opponents were a combined .500. Kansas City’s opponents had a .488 winning percentage and Denver’s opponents had a .484 winning percentage.

Of course, a big reason why San Diego has the easiest schedule in the division is that it went 13-3. The other three teams in the AFC West have to deal with San Diego and San Diego, of course, doesn’t.

Here is the NFL strength of schedule chart:

First things first - I wanna finish this season before I'm making up my mind about next year.

But one word. easy schedule because of KC + OAK twice
and the low NFC west. But those teams have good hopes
to come great out of the draft.

KC, SF and StL will rise next year. Good to play them to
    defend a special trophy.

The Raiders make the worst draft day choices. The Raiders first rounders are always a source of comedy.

I believe Pittsburgh had the hardest strength of schedule in 2008 and they won it all. It won't matter too much, alot changes from year to year. But the schedule does look alot like 2006 schedule.

There's some guy out there right now who is REALLY fast, but not such a good football player. He is crossing his fingers and hoping like hell that Al Davis doesn't die before the draft.

Only team i'm worried about in NFC west honestly is 49ers. They have alot to work on but with 2 high 1st round draft picks the niners could be beastly next year. Crabtree will have time to know the playbook, Davis is playing better than antonio gates and perhaps alex smith isn't a bust? Plus the 49ers will probably have a great secondary next year from the draft and they have WIllis!
