The San Diego Chargers enter week's contest against the Miami Dolphins with the third-most quarterback sacks in the NFL, but on Tuesday the Bolts devoted their efforts to sacking hunger this holiday season.

In conjunction with "Lift Up America," the Chargers helped distributed several hundred gifts of food and hope Tuesday in the Qualcomm Stadium parking lot.

"We as an organization are thrilled to have the pleasure of participating in such a wonderful event," Chargers Executive Vice President Jim Steeg said. "It's our desire that no one goes hungry this holiday season. If we can make a difference for one family today, it will be well worth our effort."</blockquote>
