    3. LaDainian Tomlinson, RB, San Diego Chargers: He's a sensational all-round weapon. If he plays long enough, he might break all the rushing records.

    8. Shawne Merriman, LB, San Diego Chargers: Getting 17 sacks in 12 games is dominance. He comes off the edge with force. Is the sack record possible? You bet.

    23. Antonio Gates, TE, San Diego Chargers: He is such a valuable weapon in the middle of the field that he helps offset the fact the Chargers don't have a go-to receiver.

    50. Jamal Williams, DT, San Diego Chargers: He's the best run-stuffing nose tackle in the league. He makes it tough to run on the Chargers.

    Just Missed: Luis Castillo

I *gulp* agree with Rock. Burgess should be on that list. I also Think Jamal should be WAY higher.

Untill the Raiders win at least 1 game within the Division, you can expect the same results every year. No one is going to give them any respect. Get used to it.

I think that entire list needs to be redone.

Brees should be a little higher on that list, IMO. Where would the Saints have been without him last year? The NFC's offensive player of the year can't finish higher than Dwight Freeney, Andre Johnson, Chad Johnson, and John Henderson?

    LT is #1. Period. MVP = #1. :icon_huh:

Brady #2? Nope. Peyton #2 and Merriman #3. Merriman was scheduled for Defensive MVP until the whole roid rage thingy.

Jamal is easily in the top 5. Show me another who commands double and triple teams on every play........

Too bad this guy didn't spend enough time on his reserch to make an accurate assement of these guys.

The guy writing this article is a douche bag........

It’s an East Coast bias. Marcus McNeal and Lorenzo Neal should have been at least mentioned.

That looks like quite possibly the most frustrating message board to post in the history of message boards. There are some dumb MFers there.

The best player in the league is LT. Jamal Williams should be rated a lot higher than 50. By the end of the season, health remaining in tact, I'm banking on Rivers cracking the top five as well.
