Center Nick Hardwick, who returned to practice in a limited manner Wednesday for the first time since injuring his ankle in the season opener, practiced again. Turner said he didn't think Hardwick would be able to actually participate in team drills for “a couple weeks.”

The likelihood of inside linebacker Kevin Burnett playing decreases daily, as he missed another practice due to a sprained ankle suffered Oct. 19 against Denver. Nose tackle Ogemdi Nwagbuo also missed practice with the ankle he sprained in Kansas City, but he is more likely to play against the Raiders.

Defensive lineman Travis Johnson returned to full practice after being limited Wednesday. Johnson, who had groin surgery in late June, will likely spend every week of the season trying to get healthy enough to play Sundays. That means icing his groin daily and likely missing or being limited in practices.

Kevin Burnett LB Ankle Did Not Participate In Practice

Ogemdi Nwagbuo DT Ankle Did Not Participate In Practice

Travis Johnson DE Groin Full Participation in Practice

Mike Scifres P left Groin Full Participation in Practice

Nick Hardwick C Ankle Limited Participation in Practice

Shawne Merriman LB Foot Limited Participation in Practice

A groin strain that has nagged Chargers punter Mike Scifres since late in preseason remains an unwelcome visitor. "I still feel it," Scifres said. But he said he's getting as much practice as he would without the injury.

It looks like Martin will play this week with Nwagbou still hampered. Lets hope he's up to the task.

It appears that the Raiders will be limping into this game even more than we will.

And they will certainly be limping harder when they leave this neighborhood... It's payback time to get at those shiver & blechh bozos coming down on Sunday.

Yep. I will be very disappointed if they get shoved around like they did in week 1. Even if we win if the Raiders dominate the trenches like they did last time we can't come of this game very optimistic.

But I am very hopeful that won't be the case and we are starting to stiffen up on both lines.

I look at it this way: In week one the Rat-turds were supremely hyped up to play the Chargers at home. They physically beat our guys up...we took the best they had to offer and still beat them.

Fast forward to this week, we still have problems on the O-line and D-line but they seem to be more in sync and playing better each week. The 'turds on the other hand are on the lavatory log ride down the drain for yet another season. I don't know if the Chargers will cover the 16 1/2 point spread but I am expecting to see the 'turd fans streaming out of the exits by the mid 3rd quarter....it's a beautiful thing!

I'd like to see us completely demoralize them the way NE did to Tennessee.
