SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- San Diego Chargers coach Marty Schottenheimer had a simple game plan to help make Philip Rivers' first career start at quarterback a success. He just may follow the same script Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

The fourth overall pick in 2004, Rivers sat his first two years behind Drew Brees before taking the reins this season.

Schottenheimer used the game plan of running the ball with LaDainian Tomlinson and letting his defense dominate in a 27-0 season-opening victory at Oakland on Monday night.</blockquote>
