The Chargers addressed their need at WR by selecting LSU receiver Craig Davis in the 1st round. Davis one of QB JaMarcus Russell's primary receivers finished last season with 56 catches for 836 yards and 4 TD's. Davis who ran a 4.46, 40 will be call upon to fill the void left by veteran Keenan McCardell, and become the speedy deep threat WR that the Chargers have been lacking for years.

Player Profile from NFL Draft Countdown

Very athletic and still has a lot of upside...Has good size and a solid build...Timed speed is excellent and he has a burst...Hands are extremely reliable...Adjusts well to poorly thrown balls...Elusive and runs well after the catch...Big play threat who can hurt defenses vertically...Holds his own as a blocker...Also a top return man.

Durability is a concern...Shys away from contact and will not sell out to make the catch...Needs to improve as a route runner...Was not overly productive and didn't always play up to his ability in college...He is still somewhat raw and unpolished.
Real name is Craig but he goes by "Buster"...Played on a very talented team and was overshadowed by Dwayne Bowe at times...Has all the tools you look for in a wideout and could really blossom at the next level if given more of an opportunity.
