Chargers must hope experience overrated

    The Chargers have decided, for the moment at least, that experience is overrated.

    They know they are down to two quarterbacks and that one of them has 30 NFL passes and no NFL starts and the other is a rookie.

    "We're fine," head coach Marty Schottenheimer said. "We are where we are. It doesn't mean that's where we're going to be. But I'm very comfortable."</blockquote>
