In two hours no less. I get the feeling the team isn't as deep as they'd like but surprisingly no WRs, no pass rushers. Some of the players I'll wonder where they fit; Walker and Manning are STs for sure, I didn't think much of Nevis when he was drafted and even though he bulked up I wonder what his use is. The Chargers have acquired now 2 DEs but I don't know if they're really any deeper or better at that position

What this tells me is that this administration is more involved and open in their dealings with other teams, and are actively trying to improve the personnel issues instead of working behind closed doors like their predecessors.

Well, there's definitely no lack of activity.

Of course, the real issue is whether or not the guys coming in
are an improvement on the guys going out. Time will tell.

Since Denver likes to take our guys I think we should take their guy WR Gerell Robinson

What this tells me is that the current roster sucks. Wake up and smell the rebuild.

Well, on a bright note; If you take last years totals, we now have a combined 12 sacks from our line backing core:abq1:

Eagles 2011 first-round pick Danny Watkins passed through waivers unclaimed and is now a free agent.

According to the Philly Inquirer, "word is" Watkins still wants to play football, even if he didn't act like it with the Eagles. He was not claimed because of a high salary from his rookie contract. Watkins could wind up resurfacing for the third-year NFL minimum, assuming he wants to go through with it.

It couldn't hurt to pick him up

Well, I enjoy your optimism, Ant, but tempered by the reality that Manning's next sack would also be his first.

And, honestly, isn't Bleacher Report a site for folks who feel the
Weekly World News is "...too serious, reputable and academic" ?

Whatever about the guys coming in there's no doubt our D line behind the starters is muck. Count me as NOT a fan of Geathers, I've not seen anything but poor play from that guy. I don't think he makes it. Esp if Nevis and Lissemore pan out. Brandon Moore has shown me more so he will goto PS hopefully.

Surprised that DJ Smith has not made it. Don't understand the Jake Byrne signing unless he is here for just the Texans game. I reckon TT will break the NFL record (probably Indy's last yr?) of changes to a roster during a season, which is probably good when u are so thin. That wideout from Jax, anyone know much about him?

I like the moves. Lissemore is a stud in the making. Good article here.

I actually liked Nevis a fair amount coming outta college so hopefully he'll be good in rotation.

I've spoken with GB fans who think Manning would have worked his way into a starting role sans injury. And Walker has been a ST standout for the Cards.

Telescopio must believe that these guys are upgrade over what they had after their final cut down. Who knows, some of the pick ups may turn out to be fine players being that they've been cut loose. The MASH unit of WR's the Bolts have is a little concerning out of the gate, it would be nice if they could find a decent workhorse WR to throw into the fold.

It show the current roster is lacking in depth. But it says nothing about the front line talent, since none of the guys being replaced are expected to be starters.

Odd that signing a ILB affects the kick returner, but so it goes. I guess they felt Goodman's coverage duties weren't needed now, so they have others who can return the kicks.

It gives him an active roll at least. Don't know how much time he'd see at RB with Mathews and Woodhead (barring injuries).
