It's been bad since last Friday, which made all the reporters' 4 CB projections for the 53 man roster puzzling.
Totally different than LT situation though, at least from a mgmt perspective. LT depth was a blunder for sure. But nobody plans for 3 CBs to go down --that's just **** luck right there.

I think that the Chargers thought Mario Henderson was going to be the backup at LT and found he is just not skilled enough to play that position. They need to sign a vet and fast.

No matter how you slice it, backing up an injury-prone LT with a fat LT and an UDFA is not a good plan.
Now they're stuck looking for another diamond in the rough or veteran castoff.

They did do a good job getting a pass rush together. That's going to alleviate the problems at CB. And if Rivers can dump off a lot of passes to Royal, we may actually be alright. That's a big if though.

they can't run out and get one NOW because it makes no sense to. Cuts are coming later this week and we can see if there are any decent tackles out there on the scrap heap to pick up

Yes, but "decent" left tackles rarely end up on the scrap heap....... we were very lucky to land Gaither last year.

And we're not the only team looking. Arizona lost their starting LT and I'm sure there's others.

I am fine with the guys sitting out. With the 1-a-days it is harder to evaluate talent at the game level. I wouldn't mind seeing PR sit out again but than again he and the WRs need work. Lots of work!

I don't think he's hopeless....... sure, he'll need a back to help out on obvious passing downs, but is he any worse than Clary? ;)

I can only pray that Gilchrist/Wright/Jammer are ready to roll this week, otherwise this will be very very problematic

Wouldn't be surprised to see Strickland come back to the Bolts if someone else doesn't grab him first.

Issue at cornerback. Only one of 4 CBs to practice the past two weeks is Antoine Cason. Chargers actively looking for veteran nickel/depth.

    UTKevinAcee ‏@UTKevinAcee
.@caplannfl reports Eagles to release CB Joselio Hanson ... Keep an eye on that guy as possible CB depth.

The Detroit Lions sign CB Drayton Florence. Despite speculation to the contrary, he was never coming here.
