To bad we can't get some media credentials. I'd love it if we could send someone to these sessions for a report.

if you look up the word 'voluntary' in the NFL dictionary its translates to mandatory

Sorry if this is a dumb chick question, but what is a "coaching session"? How is this different from minicamp, training camp, practice and voluntary workouts? Thanks! :icon_banana:

I believe, and if anyone knows differently, please correct me, that the NFL coaching sessions are different, because there isn't any on the field work. This would be mostly mental stuff. Like studying the schemes and position assignments and such.

I'd also guess that there would be more one on one time with coaches.

Am I right, or am I just making assumptions? Anyone know more about coaching sessions and what they entail?

An idle mind is the devil's workshop. It might be pre-school for training camp, but it also keeps them around their minders.

Thanks for the explanations, Shams and Thumps. It sound like we fans have to wait unil late July to watch any more workouts.
