Obviously it is because of Kaeding's injury last game.

Too bad we couldn't get Carney back, even though he wouldn't help at all on kickoffs. Off of just name recognition, I'd go wit Cundiff I guess. By the way, is Vanderjagt still unemployed? Wups up wit dat? Even the Chiefs chose Ol' Reliable Carney over him.

yeah....... but I don't gettit. Kaeding seemed fine kicking FGs after the injury on the tackle. As for kickoffs Scifres can handle that for 1 game surely?. Unless Nate broke a nail while out tuesday night or something?.

Scifres isn't a kicker, he's a punter. He could do kickoffs but he definitely couldn't kick field goals and there's question if he could kick even an extra point. Its a different set of skills from a punter to a kicker

Vanderjagt is a serious booze hound with an attitude problem. He'd probably have to crawl out of a bottle and I wonder if his nerve endings would function well enough to even make solid contact with the ball.

I heard on Sirius that it was just for kickoffs, that Kaeding would still handle field goals. I guess the team doesn't want Scifres kicking off.

Yeah that's what I meant Ant........ We don't need to demote a 'real' player to accomodate a friggin kickoff specialist. Remember the days of Wade Richey and Steve Christie. God help us.

This is something us Europeans laugh at. To think u would have a guy who just kicked off. The first thing we learn to do as a kid is kick a ball (women included).

Forget where I came across it, but Kaeding has said he's feeling better.

Yes, that was when he got hurt. I think it was a deep thigh bruise if I remember correctly.
