Chargers to work out Seyi Ajirotutu
    By Michael Gehlken12:13 P.M.AUG. 16, 2013

The new Chargers regime will get a look Friday at an old face.

Seyi Ajirotutu is scheduled to work out for the team, a source confirmed. The wide receiver and former Fresno State teammate of Ryan Mathews has been a Charger on-and-off since signing in 2010 as an undrafted free agent.

He made the practice squad and, amid injuries, was promoted to the active roster for the final 10 games. The height of his production came in a four-catch, 111-yard and two-touchdown breakout against the Texans, making him something of a fan favorite.

After the Panthers claimed the 6-foot-5 receiver after San Diego cut him in 2011, he re-joined the Chargers last year and played three games with one start. He has 17 career catches for 311 yards and two scores.

I think he was unemployed for a reason, but perhaps he and Rivers still have some chemistry left? We'll see.

Anyway, Floyd isn't playing now, and we can use another camp body.

Lucky for us, things are kind of slow at Hickory Farms until November...

Time to start looking at the glass half full with this situation. Not sure what our other options even are...
