If the best team to miss the playoffs last season wasn't the Chargers, it was the Chiefs, who won five of their last seven games in 2005. Backup Damon Huard, who had thrown only one pass in the NFL since 2000, has good stats, but the Chiefs rank 25th in passing yards. Worse, Kansas City also ranks 25th in rushing yards, despite the presence of Larry Johnson, who averaged 150 yards a game in the final nine weeks last season.
