........that's Chargers Football in a nutshell. Have a lead? Lose it? Come back? Fall Short. Coach is Norv? Lose against physical teams.

Yeah, I know it is. Sadder thing is that Norv(while a horrible coach) didn't start this trend. It's been in this franchise since it begin.

Disastrous performance. Cannot believe that is our QB out there. I reckon we will have a mutiny before long.

Wouldn't call it choking. The officials completely influenced the outcome, keeping the Jets in the game and constantly bailing them out and extending drives. The PI on Jammer was huge and made it a 1TD game instead of us getting the ball back with plenty of time. All the off sides calls instead of false starts on the Jets, multiple touchy PI calls in the 1st half on our D. That bad spot for sanchez after the PI. Yeah we got shut out in the 2nd half but it was because we could not for the life of us get the extra opportunities due to the officials bail out calls.

the only thing I disagree with you is the word "always". It is inaccurate, as the Bolts won the 1963 championship. A long time ago: of course. But as someone who sat on those concrete chairs at Balboa Stadium I don't want that team disrespected.

I don't know what to say. This team keeps breaking my heart, but I love them so I can't leave.

This....I honestly was watching this game at BDUBS here in Ohio, and literally had Jets fans in there telling me that they were horse **** calls. The last PI on Jammer was atrocious just like the touchy PI earlier in the game. Not mention the ref's just let Revis do whatever he wants out there and push, shield and make contact 30 yards down field with no call. I mean 12 penalties and 11 defensive? 6 or 7 of them giving the Jets a first down and extending drives.

I mean I honestly don't know that I have EVER and I mean EVER witnessed a more hometown'ish game where it was blatent that the ref's were just giving it away.

While I'd like to agree with the PI calls, we looked like dogshit in the second half, we gave the game away.

T.O. will work out next week

Agent Drew Rosenhaus advises that receiverTerrell Owens will hold a public workout next week in California to demonstrate his current condition and fitness, after his recovery from surgery to repair a torn ACL.
Owens will work out at Calabasas High School in Calabasas, California at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25.
Rosenhaus told PFT on Wednesday that Owens has been cleared to return to football activities. Titans coach Mike Munchak recently indicated that his team would be potentially interested in Owens.
On Thursday’s PFT Live, I took a look at 11 teams that could be and/or should be potentially interested in at least finding out whether the 15-year veteran can still perform at a high level.

Can you come up with any more excuses? Fact is, the Chargers blew a 11 point lead and got shutout for the entire 2nd half. If their offense does ANYTHING, they win that game. Chargers lost that game

Their D stepped up in the 2nd half so give them credit. But so did ours and yet the Jets O got bailed out multiple times. Enough to influence the damn game. If they fairly kicked our *** in the 2nd half then I would be down on the Chargers just like you but the officials clearly had everything to do with the outcome today.

There was some horrible play calling in that game. But nothing can excuse that HORRIBLE excuse of a 2 minute drill. I have seen high school teams manage a 2 minute drill better. River looked like a rookie that had no clue. Unacceptable...

The league must really want the Jets in the postseason this year, whether they deserve to be or not. Week after week, the referees let Revis get away with undisguised mugging of opposing receivers while throwing flags at every cornerback of the opposing team. They refs seem to be doing whatever they can to ensure the “Jest” make the playoffs at the expense of the other teams they play.

The Chargers offense is supposed to be top notch and Norv is supposed to be a genius. There is no excuse for getting shutout in an entire half of football, none

Did it result in a SB ring? If not, then no
