    I'm sorry but it's time we start calling out the players.

    Mulitple picks allowed. I'm keeping the coaching staff off this poll and limiting it to players since there's a ten choice limit.

    Number 1 on my list...CROMARTIE.

    15 Picks this season, huh? How about these suggestions for more modest goals instead:

    1) Tackle, instead of getting run over and hoping the runner trips over your sprawled out carcass;
    2) Catch the ball first, instead of worrying how you're going to celebrate after the run and then dropping the ball;
    3) Learn your craft and use decent technique, instead of taking crucial Illegal Contact/Holding/PI calls that extend opponents' drives;
    4) Quit running your mouth and deliver the goods.

    You could learn something from your counterpart on the other side of the field (Q. Jammer). That is all.

    Number 2 on my list -- BUST(er)

    Get on the field, because right now it looks like we wasted a valuable draft pick on your worthless candy ***. Right now you're no more than the fifth best wide out on this team, if that.

    Injuries are one thing, aches and pains are something else entirely...play through them like a professional should and does! :icon_evil:

    Numbers 3 and 4 (in no particular order) -- WILHELM and DEREK SMITH

    There is nothing I could possibly say on this that isn't reflected in the game films or that hasn't been stated clearly by many on this board. One word: UPGRADE!

    I vote for Norv #1 and Ted #2.

    Just look around the NFL and it's easy to see how huge an impact the right coaching has.

    In order:
    Cromartie
    Castillo
    Igor

    It's not fair to put phillips in there because he has no help to pass rush.

    Phillips- Dude, make a play, get to the QB...do something to help this defense

    Cromartie- Wow, getting run over, penalties, dropped INT's, getting beat in coverage. Shoulda kept Florence.

    Castillo- He just hasnt been near what he has been in past seasons. No pressure and been weak against the run.

    Igor - I know people are saying Castillo, but I'd say it was more Igor screwing up. I see Castillo around the ball a lot, but I haven't seen Igor do crap this season. Isn't this a contract year for him? He should be busting his ***, not sitting on it.

    Dielman - It seems like everytime a defender gets through the line it's always over or around Dielman. I hate admitting it because the O-line is one of my favorite units on this team, but they have been performing very poorly this season.

    I didn't vote for Phillips because I knew his performance would go down this season with Merriman out. Since he's number 2 on the threat list after Shawne of course offenses are going to game plan for him.

    We need more safety blitzes. We need to have our leading tackler in the backfield making tackles BEFORE yards are gotten.

    I didn't pick anyone on offense. 30 points is usually enough to win games. But the defensive players (except for Jamal & Jammer), it's coaching staff, and AJ are all underachievers.

    Dude... A first quick look shows that you missed the biggest UA's... Our middle line backers suck and are a HUGE reason we can't stop the run. You didn't list a single one.

    Cromartie is in his sophmore year. Yes he's underperformed but I expect some flakeyness from him right now.

    The two places where we have no excuses are in the trenches.

    Our O-line and D-line have consistently failed to provide the push that we need. From such a talented group of veterans this is inexcusable. Jamal, Dielman, Castillo, McNeil, Hardwick, Goff etc...

    No pass rush. No Run D. No momentum in the red zone. The left side of the Oline has shown some spark at times but has failed when it counts. The right side of the line has been downright pathetic in opening up holes. The lack of spark this team has is in direct proportion to their linemen's lack of intensity.

    Our players are performing at the level of our coaching staff.

    Pretty simple actually.

    You could put every player on the roster on that list.

    I can't believe I am writing this, but, number 1 has to be Cro. I've always thought highly of Gordon. I might even start him now over Cro and leave Cason playing nickel.

    Next on list is Igor. For such a supposedly big strong dude he is a waster.

    I have not been happy with the following too in no particular order;

    Phillips, Wilhelm (never thought he was much good in the 1st place), Tolbert (gets a mulligan cos he never was a lead blocker), Weddle (like some of us were scared about, too small, too slow, can't jump blah blah blah) and Hart.

    Guys who have achieved for me are Rivers, the wideouts (except the Bust-er), Cason and Jammer.

    I was thinking the same thing today about "Bust" er. Man, they should have got the guy I wanted that Indy snagged, ANTHONY Freakin GONZALES!

    At least he would have been out on the field making plays and not hurt all the time!

    I'd take Rivers off that list. He doesn't deserve to be on it. He's been about as good as you could get.

    Wilhelm should have been the first guy on the list.

    I choose Cro... but Maybe he has been giving up so many big plays because of Cottrells D calls. But no excuses for such poor tackling. We still have time though:tup: to turn it around!
