    I like this idea a lot. It's a county-wide effort.

Heck yeah, that would be cool walking to the tailgates. As long as they stay in SD County, I'm happy.

When we see a Joint Powers Authority formed, and no that is not a bunch of dudes smoking weed, that is when we can get wet panties.

Until then, no one city has the clout to pull this off. It would take a countywide effort to do and until we see this, everything is smoke screening and wasted time.

I wish they would get the Joint Powers Authority formed like we did to get the Murph built. We are wasting time. This should have been done already.

I'm not feeling all optimistic and warm/fuzzy yet.

Seems to me that Oceanside would be the best location, because of the ability to draw fans from OC and Riverside.

Sorry... I just don't see Mexico as being a huge source for an influx of fans if the stadium were to be built in the South Bay.

Other than the present location, Oceanside is the best spot. I was born there and know it like the back of my hand.

Chula Vista or National City would SUCK ....

I figured maybe you were born over by UTC...

There's this real big, gothic type looking building there, right off the Nobel Drive exit, that's topped by a dude blowing a trumpet... :abq2:

Lets repeat that: THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE ALREADY! The entirety of the City Government should be drawn and quartered for their complete lack of intelligent movement on this item. :bolt2:

Most everyone has said this is what it would take to get this the stadium off the ground.

Why these bastards are not more proactive is a mystery. Incompetance is the only answer.
