You'll have to ask someone else about Marty's sex life.
    I wouldn't know or care.

This is correct. This is not a zero sum game here. Marty was a coach that never(at least most probably never) going to get us a ring. Virtually everyone has some reservations about the hiring of Norval with some(including me) to be more patient than others and accept provisionally the logic behind the hire. My use of his formal name has been meant to imply qualified acceptance. Marty left no option other than to dismiss him and AJ is not a guy to back down to blackmail. I maintained that the real test of this team would be the three games beginning yesterday. Norval just flunked the easiest part of the test. Norv should have throttled the Vikings in the second half, especially after the lift Cromartie game the team. He just flat choked. If we do not win this division as weak as it is an make significant progress in the playoffs, then Norval has to go. It appears that the speculation the some of the assistants were picked with this scenario in mind was valid.

This is correct. This is not a zero sum game here. Marty was a coach that would never(at least most probably never) going to get us a ring. Virtually everyone has some reservations about the hiring of Norval with some(including me) inclined to be more patient than others and accept provisionally the logic behind the hire. My use of his formal name has been meant to imply qualified acceptance. Marty left no option other than to dismiss him and AJ is not a guy to back down to blackmail. The real test of this team was to be the three games beginning yesterday. Norval just flunked the easiest part of the test. Norv should have throttled the Vikings in the second half, especially after the lift Cromartie game the team. He just flat choked, he failed to adapt and died. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to suspect in advance that banging your head against a wall will hurt and, failing to yield to that logic, you should stop before you black out, if you were actually dumb to really want to know for sure. If we do not win this division as weak as it is and make significant progress in the playoffs, then Norval has to go. It appears that the speculation that some of the assistants were picked with this scenario in mind was valid. Dumping him in mid season won't cure anything.
