    http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2006/players/10/24/poll.1024/index.html
    Hmmm...I don't see LT on there...
    AP
    Terrell Owens, Cowboys.....10%
    Brian Urlacher, Bears.....8%
    Ray Lewis, Ravens.....7%
    Michael Vick, Falcons.....7%
    Eli Manning, Giants.....4%
    Keyshawn Johnson, Panthers.....4%
    Peyton Manning, Colts.....4%
    Ben Roethlisberger, Steelers.....3%
    Charles Woodson, Packers.....3%
    Warren Sapp, Raiders.....3%

FAST FACTS: Giants QB Eli Manning and Panthers WR Keyshawn Johnson tied for fifth (4.1%).... TO won the poll for best wide receiver in the NFL (SI PLAYERS, Oct. 16).... Urlacher is third in the NFC with 54 tackles; Lewis is 11th in the AFC with 50.... Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger got only 3.4% of the overall vote but 10% within his own AFC North.... In an accompanying SI PLAYERS poll that asked players to name the most underrated player in the NFL, voters picked Falcons RB Warrick Dunn (2.7%) and also cited Seahawks RB Shaun Alexander, Chiefs QB Trent Green, Colts WR Marvin Harrison and Steelers WR Hines Ward (2.4% each).

Absolutly without a doubt.......Ben Roethlisberger, son of Ken and Brenda Roethilsberger, the kid who started varsity QB at Findlay High School in Ohio his senior year, only after playing WR and RB in his sophomore and Junior years.

I vote for Michael Vick. The hype machine for Vick has been on overdrive since before he got drafted and it hasn't stopped yet. He's a good player, but still has deficiencies at the QB position.

I thought the Ron Mexico thing was hilarious though.

I think Reggie Bush is overrated also, he might be good, but he's talked about like the second comming

here are his numbers compared to LT's first 7 games

    Reggie Bush

    Rushing
    Att Yds Avg TD
    70 212 3.0 0
    Recieving
    Rec Yds Avg TD
    42 290 6.9 0

    Total Yards = 502
    Total TD's = 1 (punt return)

    LaDainian Tomlinson

    Rushing
    Att Yds Avg TD
    168 620 3.7 7
    Recieving
    Rec Yds Avg TD
    11 99 9.0 0

    Total Yards = 719
    Total TD's = 7

    Tomlinson +217 yards (31 ypg) and +6 TD's

Your right, I was watching the NFL network today and they were all saying how well Vick has played the last two games. They also have said how well he is "developing". Hasn't he been in the league for like five years and he is still developing?

This poll is silly and is most certianly a popularity contest. TO gets more media attention than Iraq, but he is still the second best wide receiver in football. Urlacher, Lewis, Vick, Eli and Peyton are all top tier players and none of them come close the recieving the attention Owens gets. Keyshawn, Big Ben, Woodson and Sapp and all mediocre, but who's heard them mentioned in the last month? This poll is ridiculous and irrelevant.
