Even though Marty was conservative with Passing the Football, He still gets my approval because we won the game so even if he is conservative with the passing game, i'll always approve as long as we win the game and Rivers makes plays when he is called upon!!

I can't see how one stinking game that turned out to be a romp has somehow morphed inta our game set. In Kosars second year under Marty the dude threw the ball about 532 times, they also had two backs run for a 1000 yards, Byner and Mack. That doesn't sound to conservative to me, I remember those teams he had and they would put an *** whoppin on you in every facet of the game.

For those of you who doubt Marty the is always the high flying Raiders or Donks you cant follow. If it's the airiak show you want they can give it to you or try. For me I'll stick to and take the wins. :bolt: :icon_toast:

We have to have Philip more involved. I understand what Hex is saying. But we cant be shut down in our running game for three quarters like we were against the Raiders, and expect to win against other teams. Remember, Q1 LT had 100 yards rushing. Q2-Q4 he had 31. That is 3 quarters of no offensive production, except when Philip aired it out a bit. Is this going to be the norm? I hope not, they better show the 'confidence' they say they have in PR. It loooked like they were trying to hide or protect PR Monday night. Dont do that! Let him play, lets see what he has, this year it is looking good!

To convince yourself other wise is silly IMO. Especially is you use the SDC defence of "Your clueless cause you aint thinkin the way I thunk! It was a blowout man..." That Raiders blowout, would have been a loss against most other teams, with us being willing to run, run, run, punt for three quarters of the game. Just my opinion, but thats how I see things.

I'll give Marty props when he shows me he no longer plays the game "not to lose". That is exactly what he did against the Raiders.

I understand the mentality with a young QB but that will not do against better teams and especially in the playoffs.

If Marty shows me a balanced attack and a "play to win" gameplan he will get my vote.

No because "balance" is the way to beat Baltimore and Pitsburgh smart ***!

Balance is the way you keep any team guessing, rather than just letting Suggs, Lewis, Nagta, Thomas, Hampton, Haggans, Farrior, Polamalu and Porter T-Off on Ladanian.

If u have a better solution than offensive balance, i would very much like to hear it.:icon_evil:

I think the mere fact that you act like the Chargers don't know that you need balance is kind of funny. What part of the offense over the last two years has made you think the Chargers don't appreciate balance?
