I was asked by one of your members to come in and give my opinion of the football game between the Indianapolis Colts and San Diego Chargers. Needless to say I am a writer and had to voice my opinion to America. Can you say, Conspiracy?

It was pretty obvious that the NFL would have preferred that the Colts won. The Super Bowl has become the largest hype machine in all of sports and what matchup would be the easiest to hype? What matchup have they hyped for seasons? Yes, the refs helped the Colts, but that's not really anything new in the NFL.

I can say that the penalties against Weddle and Hart were absolutely filthy displays of incompetence. I wonder what it will be like this Sunday with Mr. Pushoff.

I can say that out of all the Chargers penalties I saw two maybe that were legitimate.

I also wonder how the **** can the center be offsides when he has the ****ing ball?

while its true that its nothing new. What is new is the blatant man love for deciding WHO is going to play in the final game

they need to get better at hiding their homerism

The refs took seven points off the board and Nate left three up there as well. This game should have been a blowout.

The one call that really irritated me (besides the obvious weddle getting tackled call and the imaginary PI) was when they punted, and caught the ball and stepped into the endzone for a touchback. I swear the ref was standing right there and was looking around like "do you think anybody noticed?" I just know he wanted to put the ball at the goalline and was looking to see if he could get away with it. Total BS. O, and did anybody enjoy watching them let Dallas get away with like 4 false starts??? NFL, whatever.

The ball Weddle intercepted was tipped, so interference would be waved off. That was a good non-call.

    The Hart interference was bullshit.

    The Weddle hold was bullshit.

The clock starting late, and stopping seemingly early - at 2:01, was a little strange.

Oh, and how come no holding on the Colts OL all game? They tackled Merriman on that fourth down incompletion, and that happened a lot. Especially RT #71, who held Phillips all damn game.

I'm just glad we won, because if we lost by 7 or fewer points, I would of been pissed for a while.

Saturday was grabbing his pads waaaay before the ball got to Weddle. That was a classic hold. No call.

Goddell was on the Colts sideline before the game chumming it up with the Indy staff and players.

Every time Indy missed a third down the players were looking around for a flag.

I hope we don't have to beat the refs AGAIN this Sunday.

I expect the Chargers to have at least 4 penalties called on us BEFORE the coin flip

    hahaha, I do too.

Hey fellas, nice to hear what you all thought, and figured it would be nice to see what a unbiased person watching the game thought as well.

Unless peeps have complaints I'll show more again sometime.

    Cheers~

I think I'll write a letter to the league office and ask them if they're going to order the refs to sandbag us this week like they did against the Colts.

    Thanks for your opinion.

I honestly hadn't said much about the refereeing because hey, we won & did it with backups in key positions.

Unfortunately, I see the reffing only be more biased against us this week. I mean, it's waaaaay harder to market a 17-1 team who didn't make the SB than a 19-0 team, right? Everyone should understand that. It's a business - everyone wants to get paid.

Buncha BS, IMO. Is the "F" in NFL for football or financial? :icon_shrug:

I may start watching bowling. :icon_sad:

Don't get down yet Buck and it helps that Favre and Eli Manning are in the hunt as well.

Have faith my man. :bolt:

What about the flag they picked up on the PI on Chambers? The DB was going right through him. :icon_shrug:
