Yeah. Ummm... no way this lady could possibly be making a false accusation against the man in charge of a multi-billion dollar machine. Right?

Come on, guys. Just because you don't agree with his handling of the spygate thing doesn't mean you have to believe every story out there as being truthful.

If it is true that he went back on his word, he should be made to act upon his promise.

If it's not true, then he doesn't deserve this particular criticism.

I'm not a big fan of Goodell, I think he's got tiny balls and a weak spine - but in this situation, it's easy to see why Mrs. Urbanski'd want to go after him.

The NFL was in no way, shape or form responsible for what happened to her husband. I can't believe Goodell would have made that promise to her.

    Exactly what I was thinking!!
I actually have a hard time believing that Goodell even contacted her. Pac Man has plenty of money and so does that strip club. I'm sure some kind of settlement will be accomplished in court.

Yeah, can you imagine what kind of precedent that would set? The NFL could be retroactively liable for Rae Carruth's murder victim, Leonard Little's drunk driving victim, the tacos that Chris Mims stole...

..there's lots more, but those are the three that immediately come to mind.

I think it's standard procedure in cases like this to include everyone, even the homeless who were dumpster diving, in this kind of suit. Filing fee charges are determined by the number of named defendants. In for a nickel, in for a dime.
