That college **** where all he had to do was show up on Saturday won't fly in this league. I am starting to get down on Buster.

Based on how much time each has spent on the field this year I would say they were twins...

Parker still gets the nod in my book, though. He's proven to be Mr. Clutch when he's in there.

    Nope.

He's a rook. Give him time and an offseason conditioning his body in an NFL program. That will help keep down the minor injuries.

I saw a guy who got open REPEATEDLY in Tennessee. He runs GREAT routes for a rookie WR. He is sure handed in the punt return game.

One of my "principles" in being a fan is to try and do my best to never give **** to rookies. Why? Because they are rookies and prone to mistakes and injuries.

    Buster will be fine.

some of you guys are way to impatient, and not only with Buster, if a player is injured or has a bad game or two you are ready to ship him out of town  give him a break, if by his 3rd year he's not playing well then ship his *** out of town

Abso100%lutely. This is a conditioning problem and the off season work will cure most of it, while adding some more muscle to his frame. Parker is a tough bastard who catches in the clutch. The kind of toe problem he has is impossible to play effectively with and trying to play with it is not only painful but renders a player vulnerable to really serious injuries. I have no problems with Parker. The guy is a dude.

Buster is money in the bank, let him gain some interest, we're good...

Granted if we NEEDED him out there it would be a whole other story, but he is going to need time to develop anyways, let the kid heal up and get used the the NFL beatings.

Between Chambers, Jackson, Nanee, and that distant memory Floyd there are plenty of options to get the ball to... Davis is developing and will turn into one of the best weapons on the team IN TIME... chill out...

Anyone know if we have a chance of getting Parker back for a playoff game? The guaranteed first downs would be nice...

Totally agree, and it makes you wonder about Luis' positive steroid test when he came out. At least for me it does.

Look, I realize that I am jumping the gun a little on Buster, but look at some of the other rooks in the league that are producing NOW.

Buster was always hurt in college, only playing Saturday a good chunk of the time (not practicing), and now here he is turning up on the injury report week after week in the NFL. I am not a chicken little, but you can't tell me that doesn't concern you a little. The guy will not develop as a player without practice, weight or not.

His necessity is superfluous. His successes are a testament to non-achievement. I declare his ability to be a colorful icing of circus skills that masks the endless grinding, the overlapping missions, the constant pleasurable stimulus to the I’m-getting-better-and-stronger that is heart. Onward to the future, I always say. And the future is in the future. In the not so distant past he was injured. Inertia belongs in the past and the future. Coo coo ca choo, I am the egg man.

    Davis has alot of talent.

I hope they treat his achilles injury seriously. It took me 5 years to get over mine. But then I never rested it when it happened. If its not a bad one and they rest him for month he should be fine for the playoffs.

Since we got chambers Davis is really more a work in progress. And we have Nanee. That kids gonna be a very good one. Dang friggin injurys. Especially in practice. Hate that.

I'm missing your point. Castillo had surgery on his ankle - what does that have to do with 'roids?

He tested positive for roids before he was drafted. :icon_shrug:

He has been injured for lengths of time for the last two years. Does that make more sense for you?

I always forget that most of you don't watch college football aside from just casually.
