"The thing is, since Cromartie had those three interceptions on national TV against Peyton Manning, teams have mostly stayed away from him. He has been targeted no more than 10 times a game while remaining in the starting lineup following that performance.

“They're attacking me when they can,” said Cromartie, who has at least two more interceptions than anyone else in the league. “My job is to be ready.”

The Chiefs threw just four passes his way, and he caught two of them, both in the end zone. The first came in the opening quarter, when the Chargers had Eddie Kennison double covered and Damon Huard threw the ball anyway. While Kennison ran over Eric Weddle, Cromartie made the catch."

This guy is by far my favorite player on the team. Everytime he intercepts you can tell he's the happiest player in the NFL. But that could be me projecting.

Cromartie appears to be shutting down his part of the field. Picking on Jammer isn't exactly a high percentage play either. With Weddle coming on, this is now a different defense. Even that half wit gave us credit for coverage sacks. Not many of those this year up until now.

Cro needs to work on his tackling in the offseason.

Well, on one he banged into Gonzo but didn't wrap up. Gonzo bounced off for an additional 5 yard gain.

    Cro is the man! :abq2:

For decades we have been waiting for someone of his talent level to be in the chargers defensive backfield.

Already leading the league in Ints and he has only started 3 GAMES!

    This just in.

LEISURE was right about Cro when we drafted him. I was wrong.

    That is all.

I remember I was pissed when we took him. lack of playing time, injured, comming out early.

It all added up to a wasted pick for me, and I bagged on him big time. LEISURE of all people told me to STFU, that Cro would be a great player. I laughed at him. That is until I saw him in some training camps and snapped a picture of him going into the stratosphere for an int.

    I was sold!

I was stoked. I was saying please drop, please drop.

Didn't know much about him in pre-draft, but then after reading up on him and his playing at FSU and who he was as a person. I was sold by draft day.

I knew he was going to be a stud before the draft, but I didn't think he'd be this good this early. Now I'm not like Leisure, scouting guys up way before the draft, but once I got into the draft he was the guy I wanted.

And I didn't even think CB was our biggest need but the guy was too good to pass up.

I've been good with who I've wanted the Chargers to pick the last few years, although my other picks have been ****.

    04: Roy Williams
    05: Merriman or Ware
    06: Cro
    07: Bowe

I was at Arrowhead at 10am sunday to go down next to the field and watch the players pre game routine. Cro was jamming to his head phones and in a ZONE from 10am-til 11am......he is going to be special, I have heard about his work ethic, and it was confirmed the first hour at Arrowhead.

The thing that SHOCKED me being that close to him is I didn't recognize him the first 15 minutes, because he is ALOT taller that I thought he would be.......I guess 6'2' corners in the Albert Lewis mold are so rare, but the combo of his height and SUDDENESS in the drills he was doing was AMAZING. I think he may be pushing 6'3."

I followed NFLdraftcountdown.com leading up to the draft every year (Ok the last 5)....and when Scott Wright proclaimed this kid to be top 5 talent if he stayed in school, I knew AJ was onto something!!!! He, Jammer, Paul Oliver and Weddle will form our Championship DB's for YEARS to come.

Oliver was touted as a possible top 10 pick by the same draft site before he declared for the Supplemental draft.

Cro is special there is no doubt, hopefully those Hula's translate into votes, I would love to see him in Hawaii!!!!! I was doing the Hula before he broke into it at Arrowhead on the second pick sunday for the less than 20K fans who remained by that point!!!!

Yeah, I was waiting for him to kick Florence out of the club since training camp opened up and he was out there returning punts. I was like, who is that? Cause he changed his number...but he is having a great year. Weddle is playing pretty good so far. I'd really like to see Siler and Waters break out next, if they can. Anyways, the chargers with a pretty good secondary? Bout friggin time.

I also like the kid Gregory. I think the guy is pretty solid. He seems smart.
