Anyone got a clip of that little jig he did after the TD al la Deion Sanders?:abq1:

The kid has got monster athletic skills, no way Florence should be even close to the field next week.

cro also has smarts. he understands the game and has spent a lot of time watching film and genuinely loves to play football and is a self-motivator.

Running back a ball against an offensive group that is predominantly Olineman is a lot different than running back kicks against seasoned special teamers. I'm not saying we shouldn't try him back there, but the results might not be what people expect.

His hitting skills are on the same level as well. Keep him on ST or find a way to get him the ball on offense.

If you watch the play, even BEFORE Cromartie catches the ball, you can see Chargers players moving to the right to set up a "Return Right."

Then, at least twice, you see Weddle direct blocking while running down field. AND - with his right hand, Weddle directs Cro to take the path along the sideline instead of possibly cutting inside. Sure would be nice if we had a guy with his football smarts starting at safety.

Watch their kicker, #5, go "Oh Crap" and get the hell out of the way of the #99 train bearing down on him.

Nice scheme by Crosby. Great execution by all players. BLAZING speed by Cro.

Just about the only highlight of an otherwise dismal day.

Incredible play by Cro! Should be listed as a 110 yd. runback, not 109. :icon_shrug:

Unfortunately this was the only real bright spot yesterday. :icon_evil:

110 yards is not possible. 109 is max.

Cro's record can never be broken and only tied.

Tell me why Cromartie isn't starting again? Is Drayton Florence just so much of a stud in practice that coaches are blinded by his gameday suckitude? It goes right along with Weddle > Hart, McCree going back to the preseason. Teddy, why are 2 out of 3 of our best DB's not on the field every down when it is painfully obvious that they are not only better players, but have more upside as well?

Goin from the video of the return Cromartie runs faster than 4.4

You tell when it takes 2 steps to go exactly 5 yards at full speed. Its how scouts calculate a players speed from game film.

I watched it a few times, he was clearing 5 yards faster then that.

Nobody should get wet panties over Cro until he learns to tackle and INT a ball (jump routes) and learn his coverages. More than several times that shithead gets lost and I did not expect to see anything from him this year. Flo beat his *** out fair and square in camp.

If the brother wanted it that bad, he should have beat out the starter.

Everything looks faster when an O-linemen is chasing a DB.

Please put Cromartie on punt/kick returns ....

Colts' punt coverage ranks last in NFL - IndyStar.com
