Antonio Cromartie just made AJ a genius all over again.

1st round draft pick in 2006.

    #19 overall.

Other GMs were concerned about his knee injury in college and skipping an entire year.

    Not AJ.

Dammit - if PR hadn't overthrown him, my prediction of a 30+ yard TD would have been correct. :icon_sad:

In two weeks--maybe next week--that play is a touchdown. Defenses just can't cover everybody.

He's going to be a star.

Lots of people have pointed out that our sacks are down but not too many people are talking about the fact that our DB's have already have more interceptions than they did all last year.

I hope you're right. Especially with regard to Cromartie. If he keeps improving at his current pace he will become exactly what we need to neutralize Moss in the playoffs.

If Jammer is out next week (injury) and Nightengale gets suspended, Cromartie better be good!

Drayton won't be suspended. If Jammer is out than Cro and Florence start and Cletis will come in on nickel.

Also, had PR not overthrown him then we would be able to say Norv tried to move the ball and score in the 2nd half. :(

Cro is a stud and a grown man, he is a grown man that studs look up to thinking they would like to be when they grow up.

No kidding .... a buddy called me and was "concerned" about the lack of scoring in the second half, and I mentioned that play.

We were on cruise control before the 2nd quarter was half over. You should see some of the whine *** threads at Chargers.com, and I imagine there are a bunch at the UT too.

We physically beat the crap out of the Texans. On the field, and on the scoreboard.

    Next victim. :bolt:

Cro was off the hook today!! :abq2:

Flo is gonna be a few K lighter in the wallet for that hit. It was just fuking stupid. Same as the stupid **** he pulled in the NE palyoff game. Someone needs to take him aside and straighten his **** out. He can't make that kind of mistake in a close game.

They were whining here too in the gameday thread.

It just boggles my mind, really.

When someone complained about them not going for a touchdown after that last interception (with just over a minute to go and a 25 point lead) I seriously thought the guy was joking....but he wasn't.

I was really pissed at him. He's a real embrassment to the team. We come down on other players all the time for less cheap shots. Was a f*cking douche bag.

I hope he gets fined A LOT of money.

I think it's a $15K fine. He'll need to worry if he'll be suspended for the Vikings game.

If he is, Cromartie can fill his shoes nicely.

    Agree.

I say let him go now. That was not called for at all.

I think the only reason he is not gone already is the comp picks we get when he hits FA next year.

Merriman tipped one of Cro's INTs (I think it was the first one).

Nice to see a DB catch some balls. :bolt:

I know. .... my broadband died right when the whining began. I finally got my old dial-up hooked up and running after the game was over, then re-read that crap.

    Whatever .......

I'm fricking happy. 4-3 after a horrible start. We're getting turnovers. Gates is a FREAK of nature. LT is LT. Chambers looks like he's going to be the real deal. Our ST's players have VENOM in their hits when blasting the opponents.

We're on a roll. Keep it going ..... :bolt:

Siler is a monster on ST. We are lucky to have that guy, especially if he can turn into an every down player.

Yep. Heck, most thought Roach outplayed him in preseason, but Siler has really earned his spot with great ST's play.

Also, our goal line defense is the headbanger ball, with Siler, Dobbins and Polk coming in. Those three knock the crap out of people.
