    He is not on a team because he can not cut it. He can throw the ball a mile, but he can not read a def worth a ****.

    He has had opportunities since Minn, but he has not been able to get it done.

    How is this news?

    A guy no one wants and cant get a contract "retires" and thats news? Hell I guess Shaun Alexander is "retired" too right?

    He is better than most 3rd or 2nd string backups. The problem is he wanted to become a starter and not really be a backup. When you have a serious injury and come out from it and fail like he did with the Fins or Oakland you might have to fight your way backup.

    If he was willing to accept a backup position then he would have a job, instead he wants to fight for the starter even though he hasn't shown he is 100%.
