I just can't decide what is better him staying and whining and not playing up to his full potential and bring the whole team down, or him leaving, and the broncos having to start all over with a new QB. I think best case they get someone like brady quinn or leftwich or some other mediocre QB, try and force it and make it work, and then give up in two years, fire the HC and then draft another rookie and have to start over again.

here's to cutler and keeping the broncos down.

Fron PFTso take for what it's worth.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has no intentions of presiding over the Denver Broncos’ messy spat with fuming quarterback Jay Cutler, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post.

On the eve of the NFL owners meetings that launch today in Dana Point, Calif., Goodell made it clear that he’s not getting involved in the drama before heading out for dinner with his family.

“It’s not on my list,” Goodell told the Post.

A year ago, though, Goodell was actively involved in another nasty dispute between a quarterback and his team as he reinstated Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre after he retired in a maneuver that required the Packers to either play him or trade him.

“Yes, but that was a different issue,” Goodell said.

Meanwhile, some NFL coaches expressed confidence that Cutler will ultimately remain with the Broncos.

“My guess is this thing is overblown,” one unnamed NFL coach said. ”It might be his reaction that has caused it to be overblown, but from what I’ve gathered, I don’t think they’re trading him.”

An AFC coach chimed in: “It’s only March. You’ve seen these type of things happen before and they always get resolved.”

While that may be true if things go bad early for Jay, the new coach and the offense this could get even uglier. I also have to believe that there are some Broncos players that can't be too happy with Jay at this point.

I agree, I think the entire comparison to Jeff George is unfair.

I mean Jeff George was never as much of a whiner as Jay Cutler, also I think Jeff has a stronger arm.

Drop Cutler he's a cancer. He's talented and he's loved by almost all of Denver but he's a cancer. Denver needs to sack this fool.
