Topic is self explanatory. Please vote in the poll, and discuss this dude.

I have seen enough. I do not think he's very effective anymore and a complete waste of money. I would replace him on KR and PR ASAP. Goodman comes to mind.

Hard to answer with one of the three choices. I think it's too early to say. Sproles had a terrible game yesterday. He did nothing.

I think the league has figured out the magic trick.

Once you know how the trick is done, it's not that big of a deal anymore.

What exactly has Sproles done in his illustrious career anyways other than be a midget who goes down on first contact?

The OT win vs. the Colts comes to mind, what else? It's not like he's Devin Hester or Josh Cribbs taking it to the house every other week. How many has he returned for 6 anyways? 2, maybe 3 tops?

Trade him for something cool for the future :)

Sadly he looks scared to return kicks and take hits TBH. If he fails to return kicks I'd trade him asap. Get some good things for the future....

I've worried about him getting the ball for two full years now. A few great games in between isn't enough to be considered worthy. We could really use the money elsewhere.

Right. It's like he makes one big play and suddenly everyone is on his nuts again and has already forgotten about the fumble recovery for td he gave up just because he got 15 yards on a screen pass. Lats time I checked, Tolbert and Mathews were kicking some *** on them pay as well. So what makes Sproles so special other than the fact that he's small?

He did have a 30+ yard run and a 30+ yard catch against the Jags. I think Sproles is a homerun/strikeout kind of guy. He's either going to make a big play, or he's going to be stopped for no gain. Sort of like Barry Sanders, though of course he's not anywhere near as good as Barry.

I don't think you can blame the return numbers all on Sproles. Clearly, the special teams as a whole are struggling. As for his play on offense, he was the one guy on offense yesterday that did not have a good game. It was pretty much a terrible performance with the fumble. I think we'll be able to assess him better in 3-4 weeks. He has shown that he can produce in the league. I don't think it's just a gimmick.

I thought we should have cut him 3 years ago, and as my penance I had to adopt him.

Just curious. Who was it in the FO that signed Sproles to a 7 mill deal?

    I'm just sayin.

Apparently we needed a 3rd down RB and PR worse than our #1 receiver. About 2x worse by my math. :)
