Defense gives reason to believe

    "The success we've had (throughout his career) has been driven by giving the players the opportunity to do what they do best," Schottenheimer said Monday."  "I've always coached that way.

    On Sunday, that meant minimizing risks when his offense was backed deep in their own territory and relying on a defense that after three weeks is tops in the NFL.
