I love it. I have no problem with the rest of the AFC West continuing to **** a brick while we win division titles.

In the latest Sports Illustrated, they say L.T. addresed the locker room after the Falcons loss and said "We're not going to quit. We're not the Raiders."

    HAHAHAHHAHA

The Chargers made that choice as a group on Nov. 30, after they'd lost to the Atlanta Falcons at home to fall to 4--8. When coach Norv Turner finished addressing the team, running back LaDainian Tomlinson stepped to the middle of the locker room. "We're not going to quit," he said. "We're not the Raiders."

And some people think you can just replace the kind of respect he has in that locker room. If he can stay healthy, he can be a pro-bowl caliber player.

    Resign Sproles
    Keep LT
Use Sproles more to keep LT healthy
Keep your eyes open in the later rounds for an eventual replacement.

I truly hope that when the time comes to replace LT (whether that time is now or years down the line is besides the point) that people don't expect him to be replaced by someone of the same caliber.

I mean, it'd be awesome if he is, but guys like LT don't come along that easily.

That's not to say I don't expect them to replace him with someone who can run the ball effectively, of course.

    Agreed.

For some reason, I have a feeling LT will restructure his contract for the benefit of the team.

Maybe, but I didn't like the comment the other day about there being no loyalty in the league.
There is some truth to that, but if he feels that way, why would he bend over backwards financially to help the Chargers?

Rashad Jennings could be the next MT. I hope that he lasts until 4th or so & we snag him. Depending on his combine #s, he may go up. The other side of the coin is that coming from a small school may hold his value down.

It's going to be much worse for the Donks next year,

    http://www.denverpost.com/commented/ci_11411245

Ultimately, it won't be Pat Bowlen who decides whether Josh McDaniels, at 32, is ready to become the Broncos' next head coach.

It would be Champ Bailey and Casey Wiegmann. The decisions would come from the hearts, souls and minds of D.J. Williams, Jay Cutler and Ebenezer Ekuban. It's the Broncos players who would determine whether a kid like McDaniels would be worthy of their respect, and trust, to follow his lead.
