A friend just told me that he heard on the radio that Parker was found in a storage unit much later after the game.
Apparently, he never went back to the locker room to change or get his street clothes.
I guess he took it really hard and needed to get a hold of his emotions. He probably didn’t want to deal with the media as well.

EP... Lift your head back up and focus on next season!!! Use this experience as motivation for a Pro Bowl season and to kick some serious *** in the Playoffs next season!!!!

GET A HOLD OF YOUR EMOTIONS AND GET PISSED OFF!!!:bolt: :bolt: :bolt:

The only think I heard was that he stayed in the training room after the game and didn't want to face the media, etc.

I really hope EP bounced back from this game.

It was an atypical game for him. We have no real indications that it will happen again, playoffs or otherwise. He normally has the best hands on the team, possibly excluding Gates.

I think he'll bounce back and play as well for us as he ever has. The man's had to fight hard to get where he is today... he won't give up now.

I heard that he was crying and Keenan had to comfort him.

I love Parker and anyone who blames him for the loss just like they blamed Kaeding in 2004 can SMD.

The guy's work ethic is second to none. Darrell Jackson fugged up even more in the playoffs last year and the Seahawks still made it to the superbowl and should have won it (the refs screwed them over).

I agree, which is a scary thought
Seriously Parker has been money for us for the last three years, this was just an absolute horrible outing for him. I don't want to cut a guy who's been that good for us for so long because of one game.

Yah and we are paying him pesos. Cutting him is out of the question. This guy is consistently rated top 5 in the NFL in catching efficiency. We are just cursed with Morty.

Parker, you have to atone for your sins. You better get your *** to LT's hill and start working right now this very day.

    In AJ we trust.

He just witnessed his creation get raped by a pro.

    The weaknesses were quite obvious.

I hope Parker was not on that list.

To the bitter end, in AJ we trust.

And next year.....Chargers are goin' to the superbowl!

i have been scream'in about how he would kill us at some point returning punts. I always assumed it would be a more typical fumble or something.
anyway, i guess sprolio will now assume the role, i hope he is practicing his catching of punts now (since i hear he's all healed up).
i really hope cro gets a legit shot at returing as well...

Its so funny how overrated parker is on these boards

The guys is nothing more then average and would be a slot guy on 75% of the teams in the nfl and would have trouble even making some teams (like ari/indy/seattle/stl)
There is a reason he didn't catch a single TD this year, he's too small to be a starter and unlike other small recievers, he isn't fast enough to be a real difference maker and not strong enough to bring in tough cathes.

He wasn't nearly as good this year as the past 2 years and dropped far to many passes this year

Hopefully we draft 2 wrs this year (rice and higgins would be amazing) and go with vj/rice/floyd/higgins for the future and cut ties with the choke artist
Can't believe we let caldwell go for this guy

Exactly. Parker's biggest f-up was on the punt, and he shouldn't be a punt returner anyway. He's not that good at it any more. Why do we have the guy who has been arguably our #1 receiver returning punts anyway?

Here's hoping Darren Sproles is healthy next year.
